My kareoke choir decided to try this spot instead of our usual haunts and were pleasantly surprised! A great sound system and a nice fun space. Unfortunately the menu has no real vegan or vegetarian options so we cant really go back because half my group cant spend the recommended 20$ per person per the kareoke policy. We’d really love to come back so please please consider adding something to the menu! It’d probably be a hit!

Our visit was on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was empty and for the life of me, I don’t know why. Everything was fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly! I had the mole enchiladas and a tamarind margarita. The mole was sublime (I can still smell it now)! The margarita was strong and delicious! This restaurant definitely deserves your business. Treat yourself!

I’ve been to Pepe’s twice now, and it’s officially one of my favorite Portland gems. The food is excellent, authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care, but somehow the service is even better. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seems to love what they do.
Last time we went, we did karaoke and had an absolute blast. Great energy, great crowd, and such a fun vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food and a memorable night out, Pepe’s is the place. Highly recommend!

We had the MOST FUN for a shared birthday at Pepe’s! Adolescents and adults alike enjoyed great Mexican food and a very warm and friendly welcome. Of course the best part was the karaoke which they fired up for us even on a Monday. We could’ve stayed all night! We will be back.

My husband and I came in on a Sunday night. The service is amazing and the staff was soo kind and welcoming. Of course the food was amazing tasted like authentic Mexican food which is hard to find out here. The lady and gentlemen even convinced me to sing a song. We will definitely be back soon!
