We were on vacation and saw this restaurant was only 2 blocks from our airbnb. The menu was in Spanish but we used our phones to figure out what was what. Waitress was pretty good. She really couldn’t tell us what was what. But we liked her and she was attentive. The birrea tacos were awesome!!

Excellent food and great staff. The friendliest staff I know 🙂 They also do holiday sales and combos for families which is great. I recommend trying the pork it’s one of the best I have ever tried in New Jersey. Really great place and the prices are affordable.

Best pernil I’ve had (and I’ve had pretty good ones). Consistently delicious. Their other food is good too, but their pernil is the reason I can’t stick to my diet.
Seems the Google listing hasn’t been updated in a long while: it’s not Italian at all, it is Central and Latin American. I don’t think they have access to change Google’s description but you can always call ahead and ask what’s on their menu.

Excellent staff! I ordered a roast pork from here and it fed my entire family for the holidays at a great price. Been coming here for years and they cater all my events. Love the Bravo Family.

This is an authentic Latin lunch counter restaurant which is what La Isla in Hoboken was like 15 years ago. There is a case with the daily specials as well as a small menu. Prices are still very affordable (as expected on Bergenline). If you like Latin food and want an authentic place which feels very “homey” this is the place. The google listing used to have this as a pizzeria – which is incorrect!
