Our first time visiting with our neighbors and it did not disappoint. The ice cream flavors offered were classic however to my surprise; the serving sizes were HUGE. For the price I expected a typical serving but they are giving you big serving and my 5 year old appreciated it . I got the butter pecan and it was very tasty. Can’t wait to come back and try the pizza!

I always said I wanted to try their pizza, and I finally did. What a letdown!
The sauce had no flavor, nothing! It was so bland that any store-bought sauce would’ve been better. And get this, it’s got an Italian name, but it tastes nothing like Italian food.
So, big no for me; I’m never coming back.

Hmmm…I wanted to give more stars. I’m kind of bummed because they use canned mushrooms and not fresh mushrooms. I also expected my sausage to be like meatballs due to this being an Italian pizzeria…hmm. I really do not like canned mushrooms! When I think of Italian pizza I think of pizza with meatballs and basil and tomatoes. None of theses are choices for topping. Let’s do better Angelo’s. The best part was the crushed red peppers.

Amazing pizza/Italian restaurant. Looks like a mom & pop place from the outside, inside dining area is higher scale. Waitress the night of Sept 29th, was nice, knowledgeable about the menu. Being out of town visiting the Arboretum, this was quick food with family atmosphere. Had a large calzone with a small white pizza. Split between 2 is more than enough. Sauce was sweet, and not tangy…was delicious. Then attached to the restaurant is an icecream parlor. Great combo.

Girlfriend went into this place to get a pizza (which she walked in and ordered hours prior), was told that there were “no orders” under her name which she had already PAID for. When mentioned she had paid, she was told “no you didn’t”. Then they looked in the freezer and found it and put it in. This so called “gentleman” was extremely rude and very unprofessional in handling the situation. The pizza looks terrible and quickly thrown together, doesn’t taste good, and we had to cut the pizza ourselves as he didn’t have the time to do it evidently. I’m thankful we had a free pizza coupon for this place because we just moved to the area. I will never be spending a SINGLE CENT here ever. Owners need to check their staff. Absolutely ridiculous.

Never been here before. Went to the farm park & decided to check it out on our way home. Glad we did! It’s a quiet place to come and get something to eat. Our food was 10/10. I wish I knew my servers name but she was so sweet & we had everything we needed while we were here.

The server we had..I apologize for not recalling her name but we were to only people in there at 1pm on Sunday the 6th of March 2022..was incredible. We gave her good natured grief and she played along perfectly. In truth she is what bumped this review up to the 5 star level. We had a small pizza which had a great thin crunchy crust, a massive chef salad, eggplant parm with an equally large side salad, chicken parm the same. We loved the sauce and the large garlicy garlic bread. I mention that because you often taste very little to no garlic. The pasta was just average as was the eggplant. Look at the thumb for reference on the size of the salads. Those are average adult thumbs not those of a child.

I had a very unpleasant experience at your pizza place today. I called ahead and ordered a pizza, but when I came to pick it up, the cook was very rude to me. She scolded me for using my cell phone and pointed to a small sign that said no cell phones allowed. I had never seen that sign before and no one had ever told me about it. I felt offended by her attitude and words, so I told her that I would not come back. She said “good” and turned away. When I checked the pizza in the car, I saw that the crust was burnt.
I want you to know that there are other places that would appreciate my business and treat me with respect. I will not be coming back to your store, and I will tell others to stay away from it as well.

My family and I stopped here after our trip to the Arboretum and have no regrets. It’s exactly how you would imagine a pizzeria. Hand tossed delicious pizza and simple salads with homemade house dressing. Nothing over the top but in some cases simple is best. The menu isn’t overwhelming, the place was clean, the service was great and they have ice cream on the spot. We couldn’t have been happier with the way we ended our day and will be back after I next trip.

I just had a picnic event at Chapin Forest Shelter. My clients raved about the sheet pizza’s (pepperoni, sausage and cheese) we ordered from Angelo’s Pizzeria & Ice Cream. They delivered it right on time too. Thank you for helping make this a great event!
