A really nice place I’ll definitely visit again. After finding out that two of my favorite places were closed on Monday, I did some online searching for seafood restaurants that were highly rated. After finding Cruda and looking at their menu, I thought this place would fit the bill, and it definitely did. Located in downtown Tucson, a place I don’t often visit, we found easy parking directly across the street, which also had the virtue of being very affordable: only four bucks for our visit.

We started out with spicy tuna poke nachos, which had good quality fish, and really excellent chips. One of the people in our group had the Molcajete Frios with shrimp and asked for it in the mango habanero aguachile style, which was spicy, but not as spicy as you might expect with the word habanero included in there. ️ This was basically a type of ceviche, served in a distinctive Molcajete bowl. Enough spice to make it interesting, but if you were expecting something crazy hot, this was not it. I tried some and the flavor was good, but the shrimp definitely needed to “cook“ more in the citrus, as they were more raw than you would expect or that most people would enjoy, which might have been because we arrived later in the evening, an hour before closing, and they were not able to let it sit as long as it should have? It was still tasty, but would have definitely benefited taste and texture wise from a longer immersion in lemon or lime juice.

Another person in our group got the Ahi tuna tostadas, which included a generous amount of avocado and two tostadas piled high. Much like with the poke nachos, the tuna was very tasty.

I got the Filete Divorciado, which was red snapper divided (hence the word Divorciado) into two portions, each with a different sauce. (reddish Culichi and green Bucanero) I personally favored the half with Culichi sauce, and this is one “divorce” you can really get behind! The fish was perfectly cooked, and both of the sauces were excellent. It included a small bowl of vegetable rice, which was a nice accompaniment.

A couple of us had the margaritas, which were excellent and affordable. Although downtown Tucson is a pain in the butt to drive around, the location of this restaurant and the handy parking garage made it a joy to visit, and if you enjoy Mexican seafood, this place is not to be missed!

Everything about this place is great. It’s conveniently located across from a parking garage, unique to down town. It’s basically all fish witch is extremely rare for a desert town like Tucson. It’s menu is basically in Spanish, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The love music puts a perfect ribbon on a gem of a restaurant

Was in Tucson for work and saw this place had 1.95 oysters on Thursdays. I tempered my expectations. Let me tell you – this place is AWESOME. So few times have I been somewhere where I have zero complaints or improvements. The food was fresh, came quickly, and had some truly unique and delicious flavors. The Mango Mojito was so refreshing and our server Shanda was so attentive, sweet and gave great suggestions for what to order. The vibe is great and they are directly across the street from public parking.

Cannot recommend enough!

Best oysters ever! My husband and I love oysters, and these were by far the best ones we have tried. We got the Aguachile and the cruda ones (I believe), yum yum! We also got the seafood rice and fried calamari. Everything simply delicious! 100% recommended. Service and drinks were great as well.

Came to Tucson for a concert and decided to eat here. Ordered shrimp cocktail. It was Way over powering with lemon. Couldn’t enjoy it. Aguas chilies shrimp was a worry to eat because that they were raw not cooked in the lemon.

THE GRILLED FISH TACOS ARE SO FREAKIN GOOD. EVERYTHING 11/10. Our waitress was kind as well. Everything was soooo good.
The only bad thing was one of the older woman servers yesterday gave me the dirtiest look and rudely asked me “where are you going” as i walked to the bathroom. Super weird.

Really lovely Mexican seafood restaurant in the heart of downtown Tucson. This is a really cute restaurant with great outdoor seating as well. We ordered takeout but they weren’t busy mid-afternoon and let us sit on the patio to eat it. The staff were very nice and brought us waters. Prices were fair and they have an innovative menu. We tried the tacos gobernator and some ceviche. Everything was excellent. The tacos packed a ton of flavor. I can’t wait to return and try more. This would be an excellent date night spot.

Staff was really nice but I don’t recommend this place. Waited over an hour for food, which place was not busy. I got a cocktail and it had only 5 shrimp. My husband got culichi shrimp and the same thing portion was small. We won’t be back here. Rather go to mariscos chihuahua with bigger portions and I get my food right away even when busy. They also have free chips and salsa lol not like this place
