The Dry Fried Diced Chicken was really good. I came here off a recommendation from a friend and that’s what she recommended. The outside is crispy while the inside is juicy, the glaze on it is sweet and sour and the green onions balances it all.

I also had the Shrimp Dumplings and the shrimp inside tasted really high quality.

The atmosphere inside was very cozy and the waitress served us like we were a part of their family.

I’ll definitely be coming back here again.

A surprise find with a great selection of meat, chicken, and vegetarian options! This feels like a true family restaurant. Our server was so friendly. We came in and had to be back to work in 45 min so she got the food right out to us. I was amazed at the vegetarian options, including a delicious vegetarian mu shu and an entire listing of meatless chicken dishes. We will be back when we have more time to relax and enjoy.

I came here a few days ago for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming as Christina was a lovely host. I came alone and ordered the chicken chow mein and the original dry fried diced chicken. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. Next time I come, and I will definitely be coming back, I hope to bring my friends so we can eat family style.

So I was hungry for some pork chow mein and in the area. Other reviews said this place was good, so I stopped in. Boy, were they wrong…

First off, it was prime evening dinner time on New Years Day. There was only 1 table eating in the place. It is a small dining area where 8 maybe 10 tables.

The lady at the register greeted me and took my order, which after seeing the place, I ordered to go instead of eating there. I ordered the pork chow mein that I was craving and a beer while I waited.

There was (what I assume to be a family member or staff member) with his head down and slumped by the register, and a very unhappy vibe coming from him, not saying anything but staring at me. This was uncomfortable, to say the least, but it gets even worse….

I get my order and go outside. I open the bag, and there are no napkins. The chopsticks are super thin and can barely hold food, and there is o ly a very small thing of a chili sauce.. maybe one ounce at best.

The food itself was just plain bad. The noodles were bland, and that’s ALL THERE WAS….NOODLES….

I ate the entire plate, and it only had 3 bites of pork and no veggies besides a couple ( literally 2 or 3) shreds of carrots . When I finally got to tell the bottom of the plate, there were a few more scraps of pork and a small piece of green onion… (see picture included).

When I think of good chow mein, I can see plenty of meat and veggies. This was the exact opposite. For almost $20, I expect a lot more than bland noodles and no meat and veggies.

If I could give the place 0 stars, I would… Avoid this place if you can help it.

We love this place.

If you want to feel at home, seen and well-fed, this is your eatery.

I am a creature of habit so not overly versed in the full menu here and I recommend everything I’ve ever ordered: the lunch specials, the broccoli beef, the chicken chow mein and the won ton soup.

Even the rice and Sprite have a special vibe.

One can hear Christine (our usual waitress)’s husband working in the kitchen to make our wonderful food.

Today my won ton soup had crisp zucchini, firm shrimp, green green spinach, water chestnuts, bamboo, golden broth and pillows of pork won tons that got me back on my feet on a chilly day.

This place has great food, reasonable prices and that je ne sais quoi that makes one feel truly nourished.

10/31/2025 9pm . This place is great. Went in and ordered because they were the first restaurant that actually noticed me. Ordered to go and was worth the wait. Quality food and would return in the future. Taste great also. Incredible service, thank you.

Great food + atmosphere. This husband and wife duo are a great addition to the neighborhood. We should support and continue to support small businesses like theirs. Food is great and satisfying!

Excellent food prepared with great care (for example the outer skins of the tails of the shrimp were removed by hand and not just cut off). Christina was very friendly!

Yikes. I had heard the wings here were really good. Came in at 3pm on a Saturday. Not only did we wait close to 30min for our food, but for $17 we only got 4 chicken wings. For another $17 we got a plate of mixed vegetables with the blandest broccoli, carrot, cabbage, and zucchini I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten that same dish at plenty of Chinese places in SF and at a minimum it’s supposed to be fairly savory. The server was clearly a nice person but when we asked for “knives” he brought only one, clearly unwashed knife. They need a different server. They also couldn’t pay me to come back.
