Great staff and food was great. We ordered the tacos, smoked wings and Tequila sunrises. Place is connected to Byrd & Barrel. Cool patio and arcade in the back too. We will definitely come back soon.

Worst bar experience I’ve ever had, and I’m someone who has never left a Google review before.
The DJ was incredibly rude to my group of five friends. One of my friends requested a song and casually mentioned that last weekend she had been able to use an iPad to make a request.. she was simply trying to make conversation. He immediately became defensive and snapped that “that was a year ago.”
Later, I went up to request a song myself and asked if I could type it in on the iPad. He responded that I could, “as long as I didn’t set a drink on his station,” even though I had never attempted to do so. When I lightly laughed and asked why I couldn’t set my drink down, he went on a tangent about how expensive his equipment was. I calmly explained that I would never deliberately damage someone’s equipment, and he responded that I “should know better.”
The entire interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and uncomfortable. When I mentioned it to the bartender, she dismissed it with a shrug, which made the situation feel even more brushed off.
Overall, we felt unwelcome and talked down to for simply requesting songs and trying to engage respectfully.

This is a very nice small out-of-the-way location. I consider it one of the hidden secrets for dogwood. Easy to sit back and enjoy a nice drink listen to a little bit of live music. place your order kickback at a table and enjoy some wonderful fresh cooked food burgers are completely amazing. And then when you’re done with dinner walk across the street to sugarie bakery.

Security at back gate joking around with a pistol and no first line weapon. is unacceptable they were not paying attention to the patio just bull shitting with each other there is no real ownership. No bar should have a fully armored security guard. That was a glock with extended mag that was your back guard.

Incredible burgers! Sourced locally and staff is amazing and very helpful. Definitely give this place a look! The bar is separate from the kitchen. Kitchen staff is top notch for this out of town dude.

Great local spot with a broad beer selection and a decent whiskey shelf. The burgers here are phenomenal and worth a visit for those alone. Get the cracklin’s and deviled eggs if they have them, they sell out fast!

Nomad serves excellent food. Tamm has a lovely dog friendly patio, partially covered. It also has some arcade games.

What starts out as a nicely designed small bar turns into a massive outdoor partially covered patio with a separate game room plus a wide selection of good, cheap beer! To top it off, you can order incredibly delicious food from Nomad’s next door! Definitely a place to check out if you’ve never been.

I’m addicted to the Brussels sprouts! Great BBQ and gastro pub style burgers. Huge selection of beverages and indoor and outdoor seating with a covered patio. There is even a little arcade if you need it… It’s also very pet friendly with water bowls etc.
