Delicious food and excellent customer services. We went with a party of 20 and they were super friendly and accommodating to all of us. Our waitress was incredible and very well organized. I got the pulled pork and asked for their spicy vinegar sauce. It was amazing. Also tried the lemon and ginger steak burrito really good. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.

CELIAC FRIENDLY
I waited a day to write my review. We have had no reaction and I have deemed Hannah’s safe for my daughter 🙂

I have a 3y with Celiac and we have been ‘surviving’ on home cooked and Chick fl a for a few months now.
My MIL called down to see if we could bring in something for my daughter and they informed us they could accommodate her. We took her in and ordered her a cheeseburger with a gluten free bun and the waitress informed us the back of house would handle everything. Obviously if you’re celiac/gluten intolerant you know nothing can be a 100% guarantee and that’s where the food anxiety comes in.
Her burger came out, it looked absolutely amazing and she was even willing to give me a bite.
After we ate the Owner came out and wanted to assure us that she was doing her best to make sure there was Celiac friendly items on the menu and she would look into a few things because this wasn’t her first rodeo with the celiac/gluten intolerance community. She walked us through whatever we had questions about and made us feel very welcomed and safe.
Having a Toddler that loves to eat and she also has celiac is hard enough. Having Celiac no matter your age is hard enough. I very rarely give reviews but I wanted to give roses where they were due.
Celiac Meal:
Cheeseburger (GF bun) with unseasoned Fries and a Tea
Unfortunately hush puppies are a no-go but we plan on making her some GF ones and bringing them in for her!

We will definitely be back- sooner rather than later!!

Well to tell you the truth I was surprised with the taste of the BBQ. Couldn’t really taste the pork, but I could taste the pepper!! I eat BBQ for the taste of the pork not the seasoning. The coleslaw was tasted like relish with mayonnaise. It was alright. Hush puppies were fabulous!!. The service needs some nitrous. Always looking for someone to place my order with then looking for someone to refill my drink. Why not give your customers an extra glass and a extra glass of ice with the first round of drinks? One and done.

Our server Kinley was/is awesome. It’s nice to find a good BBQ place with GF options. Will definitely be back sandwich with the fries is on a GF bun.

Had a salad today that was just right. Plus, Stacy, our server, was exceptional. We have never had a bad meal or less than awesome service here.

Well all I can say is that it was a great experience I had the ribs with fried okra and beans. The wife had the cactus berry chicken wings and we opened up with the pub chips and jalapeño ranch was on point as welll. We will diffently be back

First and foremost they have amazing BBQ ( if you like the vinegar based NC BBQ ) AND yes I do! The service is amazing and to no surprise a very friendly Christian atmosphere. And I do love me some WWJD smiles with a side of hush puppies!

Only one complaint. The chicharrones. If you have had authentic chicharrones there is a little pork belly, You will find these nothing more than pork rinds. Sorry Hanna. But those need a bit of work.

But please do not let that deter you from Hanna’s sweet piggy meat succulent brisket!

I ordered ahead and decided to sit inside cause it was hot outside. I think they forgot I was there when though I sat right in front of the hostess station. When I got my food the fries were cold, but the sandwich was warm. Not worth the trip.

We enjoyed their traditional New Year’s Day meal: Pork chops, collard greens, cooked carrots, corn bread, and fat back (we both passed on the black eyed peas ). It was all delicious and the pork chops were tender. A good homey meal.

I love Hannahs BBQ. Small town atmosphere, great staff, and good BBQ. There are lots of BBQ restaurants in and around Hickory and the pulled pork at Hannah’s is up there with the best. Brisket and sides are ok, but in a hurrry and want the best homey feel in Hickory? Head to Hannah’s
