LOVE THIS PLACE
We are from Thailand and it is so nice to come and enjoy home country food. Taste is exactly the same, delicious, fresh, and hot. This will be All Time Favourite in the future.
People are honetly so humble. Feels so good to have visited here. Everyone is so polite and offering and even though we didn’t make reservations, they politely let us enjoy the meal.
Dear Cheff & Everyone,
Thank you for the fresh hot delicious meal
We loved your food and will always be back for more every time we visit Singapore.
God bless you
Chose this place for a Friday gathering as I saw it on Entertainer and that there was a Singha promo going on ($6 for a bottle!). The Creamy Omelette Crab Meat Garlic Fried Rice ($15.90) was a hit with fragrant garlic rice topped with a gooey omelette filled with chunks of crabmeat. Simply glorious and delicious! We also got the Sizzling Hotplate Pork Collar with Thai Basil ($19.90) which had tender pork collar slices in a yummy basil sauce, and the Kailan with Oyster Sauce ($12.90) which was simple yet delicious. Had an enjoyable meal here and would definitely be back!
Wouldn’t opt for the spicy option though as there is a herbaceous and overpowering spice that was added which made the soup and dish quite overbearing.
Moo ping and basil roasted pork was good.
Great spot whether you’re here for a one-dish meal or sharing a few à la carte plates, depending on your group size. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
Their new Telok Ayer location has a similar laid-back vibe, making it ideal for a casual lunch or a quick bite after work. Portions are slightly small, so it’s easy to try a few side dishes, much like at a true Thai street market. It’s great to see Thachang still going strong, serving up authentic, comforting flavours that remind me why I’ve been coming back all these years.
