Amazing food and quality for the price. Mediterranean plate was enough for an entire table – great deal for $10-ish. Good selection of pizzas by the slice. Don’t skip the sweet sticks!! Pillowy soft and worth the carb coma!

My husband’s co worker used to bring a couple slices of LuLu’s pizza to him at work after he was up at Bogus. My husband always said that the pizza he got was always good. It’s my husband’s birthday week so it was only right to bring him in for a fresh pie.
We did come in at the right time. We had beat the rush! I did check out the menu online so I knew what I wanted. My husband is pretty predictable so it was an easy order for him. I snagged the meatballs for dinner and my husband got a med pie with half pepperoni and extra cheese on the whole thing. We got our drinks and kicked it while our food was being prepared.
I can see this joint being fun in the spring and summer. There’s fun outdoor seating available. I also like the big garage type door that can be opened up during the warmer weather. The vibe of this joint was on point. It’s all in the music that could set the right tone. From the moment we walked in to the time we walked out, the music was the business. It reminded me being in my 20’s. It was great chillin and listening to this great music selection.
My husband’s pizza came out first and that pie looked amazing. Cheese covered every inch of that pizza. They didn’t lack on the pepperoni on half of the pizza. It made me happy seeing my husband enjoy his slices, especially since it’s right out the oven. He didn’t have to reheat it. Over the moon that my husband was eating fresh, hot slices for his birthday week.
My meatballs came out shortly after. They looked hearty and meaty! Covered in marinara and prettily garnished with basil on top. It was pipping hot! It came with beautiful slices of cheesey foccacia bread. Too many combination possibilities with the bread and the meatballs. It was all so good! I appreciate that the marinara was tasty. I have been to a couple local joints where there was too much oregano in their sauce. This joint’s marinara was on point. I ate two of those hearty meatballs and I plan on finishing the other two tomorrow.
I can see why my husband likes this pizza joint so much. The pizza was hella good. The meatballs were tasty. The staff was really nice and kind. The venue is fun and bright. I can’t believe it took me this long to try them out! I look forward to coming back with my husband. Especially in the warmer weather so we can enjoy our slices outside.

I will be the first to admit I was hesitant about ordering here. Something about Pizza and Sushi together in the same place wasn’t sitting well. HOWEVER____I highly recommend the pizza. it was as good as any New York / New Jersey Pizza Pie. The sauce was excellent, ingredients were all fresh, and it shows. Nothing was left, and the bread with marinara was a hit. It’s worth the trip if you’re in Boise to get!

Got a new york style pepperoni pizza with some ranch on the side. Portion size is massive, you will definitely have plenty of leftovers. Pizza was amazing and even the ranch tasted high quality. Staff was amazing and atmosphere was great. I can see why Lulu’s is well regarded locally, will be back again!

We came here randomly on Saturday after a hike at Simplot. My husband’s a huge pizza guy so he wanted to try it. We got the 12” for $26 and breadsticks for $7. The atmosphere there was so awesome. Everyone’s chilling, everyone having fun. It’s pretty laid back. Nice decor. Place was clean. Onto the good stuff. The pizza took about 15 minutes to make which is fair. And normal. The pizza was good, fair amount of freeze for a pizza so not too shabby. It was so big that our three kiddos couldn’t even eat one slice, which made me laugh. All in all the pizza was perfect. The breadsticks however? I’m a huge foodie and a cook myself and these breadsticks lacked everything except there softness. They basically covered the top in olive oil and put some very bland seasoning on. It tasted like nothing. You could not taste the flavor on top at all. Just a heavy amount of olive oil. The breadsticks WERE however soft. So soft they didn’t need marinara to help them because they were dried out, which they weren’t. The marinara? Also not a fan. It was completely flavorless as well. I only gave this place 3 stars because of that. Based off my personal experience with their food they could be better. It’s hard for allot of places to not dry out breadsticks so this place did great with there’s except the flavor, but I think they need to reinvent there breadsticks. Based off of how long they were and the fact there were 5 yes $7 seems appropriate but that’s because there’s nothing special to them. Again, the pizza was great, just not the breadsticks. Lastly, the pizza isn’t special in regards to other places like Pie Hole. It’s just the same style of pizza at another place under a different name. If you’re looking for a cheaper option this is not it. And I think you could get the same style of pizza cheaper somewhere else.

Ordered several pizzas (Brute, Lulu, 1/2 sausage 1/2 Hawaiian, and Athenian calzone, and a couple of Scapegoat salads for for carry-out and all were ready in under 30 minutes. My 17-year-old son commented the pizza was on his top 10 best pizzas list (and he’s had a lot of pizza through the years)! All of the food was amazing and the staff was friendly and working hard.

WOW YUM. The combination of pizza+sushi is unusual, but they do it great! Both pizza and sushi menus are well thought out and creative, with good pricing too!!

We stop in when we are in the area. The pizza is really good. Today, lunch for my husband, myself, and our daughter was $15 and he got a beer….. I’m sorry but now days McDonald’s is more expensive then that. We love this place.

Very chill, very bizarre…serving pizza & sushi under the same roof. But both are exceptional. You’d never know that this little Boise area would have one of the best of both worlds tucked in a small commercial (Highlands Village) area in the middle of a sleepy residential town near the University. Pizzas, by the slice or medium/large, rival that of big cities, with nice tangy tomato sauce to cheesy ratio on top of chewy crust you can eat on its own. (They go well with bountiful salads here too.) Sushi is impeccably made, inventive too (spicy rolls with bell pepper & jalapeno), all of your favorites. Staff is equally cool, laid-back & nice.
