I enjoyed the food here. We had lunch after a shopping spree. We ordered the chicken enchilada combo plate and a torta. It was delicious and was able to take some home for dinner. I love that they offer the pickled carrots. The red salsa was one of my favs there. Its a clean place to eat and the staff is friendly and fast at getting orders placed.

The absolute worst burrito I have ever had. Every element of the burrito lacked flavor and seasoning and it couldn’t even be saved with the salsas, all of which either tasted store bought or watered down. Total waste of money. The Mexican food in Santa Cruz in general is mediocre, flavorless and lacking in creativity but this took it to a new low. The agua fresca was good but unlike other Mexican restaurants, they only have one small cup size.

5 stars for hitting perfect sweet spot of price vibe atmosphere food. I knew I’d found a winner the first time I came and it started getting filled with Mexican couples and families and working guys.

Got fish tacos and they were perfectly cooked. Vary flavorful! The chips arent overcooked like they typically are at taqueria’s.

As a Mexican I approve of this establishment. Their chips and salsa are great. I usually drop my car off at the car wash up the street and walk over to get a burrito. Love their tortillas Highly recommend this spot.

First time I ate here (a week ago) I took out the combo with chile rejeno, chicken enchilada, rice & beans and reheated it at home – it was good, but not great (probably because of the take-out and delay in eating). But the other day I returned and took out 2 carnitas tacos, and they were GREAT! Like $6.25, including chios and salsa (which they toss in for free), plus very friendly service – it can’t be beat! You can eat outside at their counter, or take-out. This is definitely becoming my go-to place for carnitas tacos or a carnitas burrito – delicious!

Great place to get a chicken, carnitas, or steak Super Burrito…just one lasts me 2 days! The salsa bar has at least 5 different salsas and home-made marinated chiles, carrots, and O’s. I highly recommend Taqueria Agave.

It’s a simple taqueria with free chips and salsa, great horchata and delicious authentic Mexican food. Service was friendly and the inside reminded of most casual restaurants we visited in Cozumel.
