Nice little restaurant with good food. People are nice and friendly. Place is clean. My food was good. They have good corn muffins. Also potatoes salad was good. My brisket wasn’t really good. It was hard to bite and little bit rubbery. Coleslaw was good. Also they have great sandwiches. Good atmosphere inside.

This was my first time visiting this particular location. I stopped in for lunch today and it was pretty much the same experience as the others, with one exception. This location does not have a fryer. They said it made the temperature in the restaurant too hot inside, so no French fries, hush puppies, etc. Something to keep in mind if you plan on going to this location. Instead, I opted for the mac & cheese and breading pudding. Both were pretty good. Mac & cheese could have been a little cheesier for my taste. Otherwise, same great barbecue. My Virginia BBQ sandwich was PACKED full of meat. Also, seating is limited if you plan to dine in during busy hours.

Hospitable location, though small. The sandwich was delicious, and packed with lots of meat so you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. The mac and cheese is alright, but I wouldn’t order it again, as they use white cheddar and it’s kind of bland. The banana pudding is good–they use real bananas–but it’s not the best I’ve had.

This is my first time eating from here. A coworker suggested this place because he eats here all the time. So I ordered the fajita burrito and I must say that thing was DELICIOUS. Very flavorful and stuffed. I loved me some Mexican food and this place just became my new friend. Looking forward to trying other menu items❤️❤️❤️

Ordered Classic NC sandwich combo. Hush puppies and collards. Service was fast and super friendly. BBQ was very dry, unsure if it was smoked, collards bland, hush puppies were excellent. Not busy when I went so am unsure why this place IMHO had quality issues today. Will try again.

I’m pretty easy going, but this place is lousy. Upon entering, the gentleman behind the counter did not greet us. Keep in mind, this place is tiny and no one else was in the establishment. I looked around and every table was dirty, sticky and hadn’t been wiped down. The sauce bottles they provide looked about as nice as the tables. I guess they are a tad bit too lazy.
The BBQ sandwich was ice cold. It wasn’t the worst sandwich I’ve had, but definitely below average. The only saving grace was they give you a good amount. The sides were ok, Mac and cheese was good. The potato salad was sub-par. The barbecue beans definitely came out of a can.
Save yourself the trip and find bbq elsewhere, this just isn’t the place to go. With some good employees that clean and some attention to the food that goes out, it COULD be a solid choice. It’s just not happening right now.
