Amma, the owner, was so pleasant and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. Tried the fried snapper with yuca, egusi and fufu. The side salad is sooo good! We’re coming back and bringing everyone with us!

Im so happy I came across this place on Google. 10/10 food was absolutely delicious and the owner/cook was so friendly and helped us decide on a dish to try. We had the egusi and fufu. I will definitely be coming back to try everything else.

Okay I was craving Jollof rice. I looked it up near me and this restaurant was closest I asked for Joloff Rice and received Vegetable Joloff Rice. It was good, but to be honest it lacked a spicey flavor kick I expected. I’ve had Joloff Rice before from my African co-workers, Nigerian, Liberian and others and I know each is made differently. Only one I did not like and I really can’t remember what country my co-worker was from. I’m glad I ordered even though, it was not what I expected.

If I could give a hundred stars I would. This food was amazing. The chef was honest and caring. She knows her way around the kitchen. I would definitely come back. I got the fried fish, potato greens and dry rice. I TORE it up. The fish didn’t last. So good!

The best African food you will eat on the east coast and I’ve been to african restaurants all over Philly, North Jersey, Delaware and New York. By far the best. I had the egusi, croaker, jollof rice and I’m going back for more this weekend. I hope I can get some rice bread this time she sells out fast, and yes the best food I can’t stress that enough. It’s the best and the freshest and the fresh juices too. Top notch

When I tell you, I’m so happy that I don’t have to go to Philadelphia just to get some great African food. The fish was so well seasoning. It was so tasty and she cooked it to my perfection crunchy the pepper salad. I don’t know the exact name for it I thought I wasn’t gonna like it. It was so good. The rice, exactly the way that you expected to be. Not just yellow rice have vegetables and it was good most definitely will be going back actually as I’m writing in his review. I’m going back today.

This place is right down the road from us and we’re so happy it’s close by! The owner was super welcoming and took the time to explain the menu to us and recommended us what to get based on what we were feeling. I got the grilled lamb (amazing) and my husband got the fried fish (also amazing). The food came with incredible sides and salad. Btw everything at this place is halal!! We’re definitely going to be regulars here!

Would give more stars if I could! My Bestie told me about this place and I’m glad she did, I was tired of paying that toll and going over Philly (hate driving in Philly!!), but when really want something we’re going to get it lol. This place was very spacious inside, they have plenty of dishes to choose from, very reasonable prices! The owner was so welcoming and very informative!! My son and I had cassava and egusi with fufu (very fresh)! I will be back really soon!! I need to try the palm butter and also the okra soups!!! Never had either, but the owner said I’ll love it! I trust Him lol
