Pretty lousy experience overall. Prices were higher than local competitors, so keep that in mind…
We hadn’t ordered anything up there in the past, and the wife was pretty tired, so I suggested we order and pickup on our way through. We live 45 mins away, so it should have worked well.
But… They were late on “ready” time, and when we got home we found they didn’t complete the order, one item was wrong, sauces we paid extra for were omitted, and the actual sauce they apply to the wings was dry and crusty on one of the orders rather than fresh.
Not wanting to get out into the cold and drive all the way back, we salvaged what we had, but there’s probably very little reason to return. The chicken flavor was fine, but the prep, follow through, and costs were counter to any real value.
I’d recommend Sam’s right down the street, Brick & Ivy, or someplace else if wings are what you’re after. This was a disappointment. Skip it…

We waited 40 minutes after order promise time for our food which we usually understand but there wasn’t many orders the whole time and staff was too busy talking to eachother then actual work. I usually order my trad wings to get cook longer so they are more crispy but at this location I have to order then like that just so its cooked to temp. Which I know can take longer to cook and I know why it takes a little longer. This is the first time actually coming in the store and I kept noticing a lot of the girls would touch their hair and do something without washing their hands. Then after waiting for so long our wings were barely warm, curds were cold, and our wings a little to no seasoning on them. I already knew it wasn’t the best location but very disappointing to see bww location consistently serve so poorly when I generally have a good experience, at any of the others.

I ordered their online special. 20 pcs boneless wings with French fries. The food was fast and ordering was very easy. The fries were good, crispy, crunchy, and well seasoned. The wings were absolutely horrible, overcooked, hard, and no chicken..mostly only breadings and to pay $18.18 for some fried breading and fries? No thanks. Most of the wings were microscopic in size. Just a tad larger then a quarter. The flavor was excellent. The various flavors were great. The service and staff were outstanding.
Overall, I do not recommend buying this special or from this establishment. Don’t waste your time and money. It’s absolutely not worth it. It’s a marketing gimmick and I fell for it.
Stay away. I will not be returning.

I want to preface this by saying this is a B-Dubs “5 star”. Are there better local places in and around Altoona to get wings? Absolutely. But for a B-Dubs, this is actually a good spot. There’s no doubt that the quality at B-Dubs has declined over the years. I’m at the point that I don’t like going to the sit down locations anymore because it’s so hit or miss on what kind of quality you are going to get. But this To Go only location is putting out good food. Seems like every time I get it, the food is super fresh. Still hot enough to burn my mouth after the 5-10 minute drive home. And if you use the app there seems to always be a lot of good wing bundles that are reasonably priced.

We ordered 10 traditional wings and 10 boneless with 2 sides.
My wife was happy with her boneless wings but my traditional wings sucked! The wings seemed like they were sitting under a warmer for an hour. They were crunchy, dried out, chewy and COLD. My fries were good but COLD.
They were just gross. It’s pretty bad that Domino’s had better wings.
Make it right and I’ll delete the review.

I called in an order and was told 4:45 to pick up. We got there on time and my husband ran in an the girl said it would be a few min. I was in the car and finally at 5:30 I went in to see what was going on. I told her my name and she said done. My husband asked why they never told him and she said you have to watch the board. My name was never on the board. My husband said the sack had set there a long time. If I had known I would have refused and gone elsewhere. The food was cold, the boneless chicken wings were dried up the fries were gross and I will never order there again. $48 dollars worth of nasty food.

Very happy about this addition to Altoona because I love their wraps! Only negative about our first experience ordering was the portion size of onion rings we got. When ordering through DoorDash it’s $7.50 for THIS which just seems excessive. The wrap was fire though.

3rd order: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION. I tried ordering on doordash this time hoping for a better outcome. ONCE AGAIN missing veggies and side of fries that were an upcharge. UNACCEPTABLE
UPDATE: Order wrong again. I decided to give this location a second chance and made sure to check for the veggies and sauce which were right, but this time they forgot the fries with my combo! Will not be returning. Spend your money elsewhere that will not continuously not provide what the customer has paid for. The feedback form is also useless as obviously nothing has changed and there was no attempt to make it right last time.
First visit: Paid extra for large Bleu cheese and they gave me every sauce EXCEPT Bleu cheese. They also did not add the 4x celery and carrots. Ruined my meal because those are the only reason I go to buffalo wild wings.
