One of the top contenders for us when we go get tacos. The food truck staff is friendly and service is quick. The tacos are loaded with food and flavor and the quesadillas are amazingly delicious. Forgive my picture I forgot to take photos until everything was almost gone! As usual like most taco trucks, cash only FYI.

Don’t be fooled driving by, we had some seriously good tacos here. Just don’t expect something like Taco (B)Hell or any other watered done Americanized chain store selling what they call Mexican food. This is REALLY good authentic Mexican fare. We had pescado, camaron, al pastor, lengua, tripas, and azada tacos on corn tortillas… ALL amazing. My 12 year old asked to go a second time on the same day!! …. This would be a regular stop if we lived in Des Moines. Sadly we don’t. But it’ll be a reason to visit more frequently. FYI, It is cash only.
Finally made it back for another go… we tried the tacos de Tripas, cabeza, pollo, puerco, pescado, asada, and a steak burrito… All were amazing. But if I had to pick… tacos de cabeza would win the day hands down… just amazing!! We fed 3 people on $26 and were were all very full ! Try that at McDonald’s!!!

Great tacos and a friendly staff. Some of the best I’ve had in Des Moines – moist and flavorful meat and great tortillas served with all the proper fixings. Salsa options are great as well.

This is my first time eating from this truck and I absolutely approve! The burrito was fulfilling and large, great for the price! The little tacos were filled with meat and yummy. The meat (carne) was delicious and cooked to my liking. The flavor of the tacos, chefs kiss; cilantro and onions are enough for me! I was happy that there was no lack of meat, the meat was plenty for the tacos!!
