Amazing place to eat. Small in space but big in service and taste. First time here but not the last. I ordered the two eggs with home fries, bacon and white toast with a side order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was so big when the brought me my side order I told them I only ordered one biscuit, she said it is one we just cut it in half. Biscuit was hot and fluffy and the gravy had real sausage in it not just sausage flavor. Big portions and the prices were good. The waitress was friendly and on top of anything that we needed.

Nice diner that was very busy. Took a little bit to get our food, but the waitress made sure we had coffee refills whole waiting. They did have a couple vegetarian dishes and great. I had the veggie omelet with home fries and rye toast. My hubby had the western omelet. The home fries were good and never became soggy.

What a great place. Feels like you’re at home. Visiting the area and dropped by while my car was being worked on. The staff is very friendly and the place has a nice warm vibe. It’s obvious this is a definite local hangout.
The menu is super. They have a wall board with specials not on the menu, like fish and grits, which was very tempting. Since it was my first time, I thought I would order standard dishes to compare them to other places we visited.
The server was wonderful. Very friendly and conversant. My wife ordered the country fried steak and eggs, and I got a three meat omelette. We chose different breads, a biscuit for my wife and rye toast for me.
The food was promptly delivered, piping hot. The toast was nice and hot too. The country fried steak was big and the gravy tasty. The grits were good and served with margarine. I prefer butter and asked the server, which she brought out promptly. The eggs over easy were on point!
The omelette was generously big, with plenty of meat inside. It looked like the omelette was cooked at a high temperature which led to the outside being browner than I like, and the inside a little wetter than I like. That said, it was delicious and I enjoyed it.
Definitely worth a visit!

Server fantastic. Food is good. Bagels could be bigger. Wish they used real potato’s instead of the fried ones. Pork roll was delicious. Bagel could be bigger. Food was good though and service was so good that even if food was average I’d repeat.

It certainly isn’t going to blow you away with it’s atmosphere but, It’s a good place for a quick meal. I had a Rubin and the meat was very tough, my wife’s meal was fine. Our server was busy so she wasn’t super attentive.

All I can say is EXCELLENT! A great fresh of breath air! I cant believe we have lived in Clermont since 2007 and 2022 is when we decide to try this diner! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! I have heard so many wonderful things about this diner and they definitely lived up to my expectations! My family and I will return and we HIGHLY recommend them!

My husband and I stopped by Papa’s Diner for a late breakfast but it was right on time. I had the shrimp & grits and it was a small bowl of BIG flavor! My husband had an omlette with a good sized pancake. We’ll definitely be going back

Nice little diner in this plaza. Food and service was excellent. I went around 11am on Saturday and it had a decent crowd. We got lucky as soon as we walked in, 2 tables were being cleared so there was no wait at all. My mom had the French toast with 2 eggs and she said it was delicious. I had the veggies omelet and it was cooked good and hit the spot right on. I only wished they make cappuccino but they don’t but nonetheless the coffee was good as I had 2 cups. Waitress was very attractive and attentive. If I lived nearby, I would be having breakfast everyday.

The first time there the waitress was excellent and checked on us often the price was great on a $16 dollar bill i gave a $10 tip we will come back again many times the food was excellent and hot which is rare for a breakfast. Thank you

First time eating here. It’s actually not bad. Portion size is generous and filling. Prices were very affordable. We had to wait to get in there was not one table empty. My only suggestion would be they need a hostess. When you walk in your not sure if your supposed to walk up to the counter or wait at the door to be seated.
