Speaking strictly as a hotpot restaurant, it was a great choice on a snow storm evening. I know they serve sashimi but between the Chinese speaking staff and Sichuan spicy hotpot broth option, it’s not 100% Japanese…which is totally fine as long as you’re aware before booking.

Do not book here – I ignored the bad reviews & regret it. The price tag is not worth it at all. It is very similar to school dinner? The food is so below average, bringing out next course before we’ve finished the one before. If you like wine, everything is so overpriced – normally happy to splash out on wine, but please don’t do it here. I’m happy to pay a lot of money for a nice meal but this is not it, at all. Waiters/waitressing staff have no idea what they are doing & not even sure they have a real chef in the kitchen. Daylight robbery. The most average meal & wine for over £300? Wish I’d listened to the reviews!

Be careful of the Omakase. Food tastes like grocery store brought, tofu soup is bitter, cold grilled potato, the whole 7 course meal are wired. I have tried many Japanese cuisine and this one is definitely the worst!!! Not to mention that you have to prepay almost 15,000 yen / person when booking.
