Casual place, good service, great cocktails and fresh food. The environment is very friendly. That ceviche was really good!

Great until this crazy manager came and took a drink we ordered away from us. When we questioned her she said she did not have to tell us why and then off the cuff said something really rude as she walked away. It was like being in a verbal, passive-aggressive confrontation a partner who has been for 30 years. Like, we know your job probably sucks…and don’t let your bad day ruin all your guests fun.

Has a great selection of seafood dishes in a town that, while is very abundant in other dining options, is not very abundant in seafood places. One of the better seafood spots in Aspen, if not the best.
We had some oysters to start with, then shared the mussels and the crab cake and everything was delicious. Most of the cocktails are great as well, with some very nice craft cocktail ideas also.
Great location, especially in the summertime with the open patio. They do happy hour specials that are worth checking out.

Fantastic, fresh seafood for being in such a land-locked state!

Best fried Calamari/shrimp combination we have ever tasted. Their hamburgers were also very delicious. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere.
Possibly the best restaurant in Aspen!

First, the service: Claire, our server, was very friendly and attentive. We felt appreciated. Second, the atmosphere: Cozy; and you can get a table in a quiet corner, as we requested. And third, the food: The front end of the menu is definitely Mediterranean style, and the Crispy Rock Shrimp and Calamari fit into that description. It was a large helping of tender shrimp and squid fried up in a light tempura batter…plenty generous for two. The togarashi (Japanese) spice was a little off-theme, but gave the dish quite a kick, while the “spicy” aioli actually cooled things off. The King Crab Risotto was full of cheese flavor, and the crab pieces were plentiful. However, the pan-roasted salmon was unimpressive. The fingerling potatoes were delicious, but the sun-dried tomato pesto just had a strange, not so pleasant flavor. The wine list seemed rather expensive, which tended to drive up the cost of dinner.

We went to Bodega the other day and I had the crab cakes, truffle fries and jalapeños margaritas. I have to say evetything was absolutely delicious and the crab cakes were the best I ve ever had. Cant get them out of my head. We may just have to have lunch there again before we take off.
