Moo ping is one of my favorite foods, so I was excited to try it here. Sadly, it was a big disappointment. The pork seemed more like it was fried instead of being nicely grilled, which made it quite oily and dry. I switched to the boat noodle soup, but it was also salty to me. The Indonesian chicken rice was fine overall, although the chicken was a bit dry.

Had an amazing dinner there last night! Staff super friendly, allergy conscious, and food came out so fast and tasted amazing! We got the mango curry, crispy chicken fried rice, pad Thai, crab rangoons, scallion pancakes, chicken satay. All was amazing!

Solid Thai spot in Brookline.

Saw this place listed in a few “Top 10 Thai in Boston” roundups, so I swung by for a quick fix. Brookline’s not exactly overflowing with Thai options (outside of the two modern spots in Harvard Square), so expectations were modest.

Starters were fine. Scallion pancake was on the blander side but nailed the crispiness. Fried chive dumplings were better—crisped edges, chewy interior, savory filling. Hard to mess that one up, and they didn’t.

My favorite dish was Indonesian fried rice with chicken. Juicy, extra-crispy chicken pieces piled on top of a sweet-savory fried rice. Humble, but really satisfying. Then came the Bangkok duck. Definitely pre-frozen, but the portion size kind of made up for it. Bigger than what I usually get from some of my go-tos in Back Bay. Meat was on the dry side, but the sweet BBQ-style sauce at the bottom helped it along. If you’re craving duck and want value, it’s not a bad pick.

For no-frills, satisfying Thai-American classics, I recommend giving them a try.

Very quick, fresh noodles, chicken and shrimp(not overcooked). Asked for medium spice and they nailed it. First Pad Thai I wasn’t disappointed for a quick takeout option but glad to know where to go now!

Amazing place, people were all smiles and polite. There were vegetarian options. Food was sumptuous, tasty, fragrant and very affordable.

We were looking for dinner options as we landed in Boston/Brookline and everything was closed with few bar places open. This place was open until late, lit up with welcoming and calm ambience.

We will definitely be coming back here.

Food is good. I got the taste of little extra sugar from almost all items except Chicken Satay. But otherwise all good. We had Chicken Satay, Veg crispy spring rolls, udon noodles and Tom Yun noodles.
I had a salmon choo chee and it tasted delicious.
4 stars because, fried salmon is not really flavorful and though it is tasty, but it doesn’t really go along with dish. And after certain point, you don’t want to eat it also since throat just becomes too greasy.

Got recommended by a coworker who used to live in Thailand and she said by far this is the only restaurant that serves most authentic Thai food in Boston/Greater Boston. Glad I went with her words because the food tasted amazing. They have such a big menu of dishes that other Thai places don’t have. Hence it’s authentic, expect the food to be real spicy (even with 1 chili sign).

The service by far is the fastest I’ve seen in a sit down restaurant. We got our food within 10 minutes after ordering and they’re freshly cooked. Highly recommend if in the Brookline area.

I live very close to this place and have tried (way too) many dishes. It can be busy, and some dishes are better than the others. But it’s a solid place with some really great and fun dishes with a good consistency.
My favorites so far – eggplant tofu stir fry, pad krapow with pork, pad thai Thai style (slightly more expensive but totally worth it!), Indonesian fried rice with fried chicken, and Rod D noodle (tastes a bit like pad see Wu but with thinner noodle). I like the service. It’s also great that the cute dessert place Oasit’s is right next door! (Their Shibuya honey toast and Oreo croffle are yummy.)
(FYI, their Pad kee mao, tom yum, and curry are not my favorites. And the spicy crispy calamari was also just ok..too sweet for my taste). Their menu is huge, so it’s fun to go with friends.

I ordered the Indonesian Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken at Rod D by Sitti, and honestly, it blew me away. I wasn’t expecting something this flavorful and satisfying from a simple fried rice dish — but they nailed it.

The rice itself is perfectly cooked — not greasy, not dry — with that ideal balance of sweet, savory, and just a hint of spice. You can tell it’s been wok-fried properly because every bite has that smoky depth you only get from a hot pan. The crispy chicken on top is the real star though: golden brown, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and juicy inside. It adds such a great texture contrast to the soft, fragrant rice.

Portion size is generous (you could easily share, but you won’t want to), and the dish feels comforting without being heavy. It’s the kind of meal that makes you stop mid-bite and think, “Wow, this is really good.”

The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. You can tell they take pride in what they serve here. If you’re in Brookline and craving something flavorful and satisfying, this Indonesian Fried Rice is a must-try. It’s easily one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve had anywhere in Boston — a perfect mix of comfort food and real Thai flavor.

Loved the place! It is always crowded – even on weekdays. It is perfect to enjoy a hearty dinner after a long day. The food is really good. I had the Pad Thai and the Tropical Thai tea – they were awesome. The waiters are very friendly, but the service was a little bit slow. Will definitely be back!
