Yum. The ice cream is so good. I got a small serving of ice cream in a waffle cone. There were 2 big scoops. I needed a dish with a spoon, so I could eat the ice cream in the cone first, and then the dish of it. (I forgot to take a photo ). They have a great selection of flavors.
There is also, a mini golf course.

Excellent ice cream! Generous portions. Plenty of parking and some outdoor seating. There’s a family friendly mini golf place next to it, as well.

Maine’s biggest chain serving, go figure, ice cream. A missed American past-time for ice cream and conversation and a must-go-to for any visit in Maine. Check out the “Main-ah” flavors like moose tracks and others too! Come try or enjoy again!

Great place for really good local ice cream. Even took my girlfriend to Gifford’s puttputt next door which was super fun.

Mini golf is a lot of fun, then cool down after with great ice cream! The only downfall here is if you come on the weekends you might wait in line for awhile but they do have multiple order windows to help it move along.

Loved the ice cream! We enjoyed a cookie dough in a waffle cone and a peanut butter parfait and traditional vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. All were well worth it.

Nothing special. Certainly not to justify the priced. Very ordinary. I had the special summer offering: strawberry shortcake sundae. Now, IMHO, 2 of those and a ‘pup cup’ shouldn’t cost $19.71 — I think that’s ridiculous. When eating the strawberry shortcake, I honestly wasn’t sure at FIRST bite if I was nibbling on a piece of cardboard or something edible. That’s not a resounding endorsement. Took for …ever……..to…….get…..my…..order……no one else was there, no huge backlog of orders ahead (1) / behind. Store wasn’t closing. Just s…l…o…w. I would t be going back. Person who took my order was very sweet.

My family and two friends, one from Sweden and one from the Netherlands enjoyed a variety of ice creams. A lot of us had the Wild Maine Blueberry, myself included. Oh boy was that ever delicious. Magnus and Marcello thought the ice cream was of excellent quality and enjoyed the flavors they had. Thanks Gifford’s! You’ve made some friends from away. And maintained friends from the area.

Ice cream is high priced. Flavor is a bit bland or at least it was for the coffee frappe I had.
