We ordered the Special Plate Large, $15.75, and the Pesto Cavatelli with Grilled Chicken, $ 14.25.
The Special Plate was a variety. of different noodles, incl. 2 raisin, and 2 chicken ravioli and it looked like maybe a can of tomato sauce on top. There was no flavor, the noodles were overcooked, not fresh. it seemed like it was just heated up in the microwave. The noodles and the ravioli all tasted the same.
The bread was deep fat fried.
The Pesto Cavatelli with grilled chicken. It had maybe six small slivers of chicken, it was drenched in pesto, also no flavor. I was told this is a fourth generation Italian restaurant.
I was very excited to come here. I will never come here again. I have never been this disappointed. It was so bad I couldn’t even eat it.
Please look at the pictures, they were taking when we received our food.
The waitress was very friendly.

Best pasta! The raisin and cheese ravioli with the red and the white sauce! *chef’s kiss! Service is great and quick. Love it there!

Tables need to be bigger, especially when you have the family style for 4 people. We think our waitress was new, she’ll do great once she gets used to the pace. Definitely will go back.

I’ve never eaten here physically, but I’ve purchased their frozen chicken and cheese ravioli for home. It is amazing and everything you want in a ravioli! They are large and very cheesy.

This could be because I do have a very developed palate, but they’re pasta lacked salt and the sauce lacked seasoning period…canned tomato sauce with a little basil doesn’t cut it. Rao’s would be a better choice than this. The ravioli was gummy and borderline inedible. Frozen meatballs and mediocre Italian sausage. Saving grace was the soft bread stick, though those are bought as well. Not sure I’ll be back.

The pasta is delicious, but it’s a carb-bomb. The ravioli was my favorite. The spaghetti and cavatelli kind of blend together, but are tender and delicious. The sausage and meatball were great, just not enough of it to balance out the carbs. The breadstick and garlic cheese bread were awesome, but a touch too salty. You can tell the pasta is made from scratch, and it’s excellent. Portion sizes are HUGE. They just recently changed ownership (the original owner’s granddaughter, IIRC). They are takeout only right now, but are staffing-up for dine-in. I’ll definitely visit again, and I hope they get a chance to expand their menu.

Have not eaten here since I was a kid. Ordered online for a 7:10pm pick up. Didn’t get my food until 7:27. Got home, opened my spaghetti with meat sauce and it had a big chunk of meat on top that was brown on one side and raw on the other. Rest of the meat was crunchy (over cooked). The sauce was good but wouldn’t order again with meat. Pizza was underwhelming, a little bit of sauce with too much cheese and not enough pepperoni. Staff was nice and they weren’t understaffed. Place was clean.

It was a Extraordinary Experience!!! First time visiting this Establishment and pleasantly surprised. The Pesto was Perfect and the Amatriciana was also perfect. Ravioli was big and packed full of Meat and Cheese. Cavatelli Noodles perfect and delicious, paired with Pesto and Sausage. The Meat (both Meatball and Sausage) were a taste buds gift. I would put this food up against the “High End” Restraunts and they would get my vote. Kudos to Bona Casa for bringing Italy to Wisconsin.
