McDevitt Taco Supply started in 2011 on the Pearl Street Mall with a single taco cart. Since, this single cart has grown into a South Boulder Bar and Restaurant, a Denver Rooftop Bar and Restaurant, a top-rated catering business, a coffee cafe, and much more. Along the way we have built a team of dedicated taco slingers who are known for their hard work and fun attitude that has become a staple of all McDevitt ventures. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day in August was choosing McDevvitt Taco Supply for our catering and bartending!
Sean was amazing communicating price and adjustments making us feel secure and excited before and after our excellent tasting at the restaurant. We talked to other catering companies and felt sticker shock, but McDevvitt has fair pricing and doesn’t inflate the price for weddings even though they have delicious food and excellent service. At our tasting, we got to see the high quality options, obsess over the green chili mac n cheese, and took home a box of churros (that we still talk about). The team was amazing checking in on us on our day (including making our plates for us), brought us appetizers and cocktails while we had a private moment after the ceremony, set up our tables perfectly, and distributed champagne to our guests (and sparkling apple cider to our sober guests!).
Above and beyond our expectations, thank you so so much for making our day perfect! We look forward to more date nights and getting to talk about our wedding over pineapple margs ❤️

It was greatly recommended by a colleague of mine who is actually not local but would always stop by if he is in town for business. I tried the first time and loved the tacos so much that I was craving them the next day. I went back from time to time for dine in or takeout and I was never disappointed. It is a small restaurant with great vibe, very energetic, very Boulder. It has good selection of beers and is also dog friendly. I have seen some adorable dogs by the tables in the outdoor sitting section while their owners enjoyed the food and the drinks.
I do notice I would get couple extra tortillas in my takeout. Wish this happens to dine in as well because the tacos that I have tried are all with lots of flavors and well seasoned, hence the extra tortillas would be a perfect balance.

We LOVED having McDevitt Taco Supply cater our wedding! From the tasting to the day of the event, the team was professional, friendly, and super easy to work with. Sean was so easy to communicate with in the planning process and really helped us design the perfect plan to fit our needs and budget. Having a caterer who took care of cocktail hour appetizers, the buffet, dessert, and bar took so much of the stress out of planning. On the day of, they made our guests feel so taken care of and welcome.
We loved the variety of options including delicious food that could accommodate all of our guests, vegetarian, gluten free and all! We still stop by the Boulder location because we enjoy the food and margaritas so much! Thank you McDevitt Taco Supply for being a part of our big day!

Three of us dropped in here kind of late on a Thursday. It was absolutely packed, but we were able to be seated in a group at the bar after a few minutes. We normally don’t like bar seating, but we enjoyed it this time. There were two different people sort of tending the bar and taking and serving orders and both were friendly and super fast and efficient. We tried the salsa trio and while we thought they were very fresh and made with high quality ingredients, none of them had much heat at all. They did mention to us that their salsas were about flavor and not heat and I’d say that’s a perfect description, as all were interesting and flavorful. Still, we like more heat. The tacos we had were super good, and all served hot and fresh. The flautas/taquitos we had as an appetizer were also very good. All of our drinks were absolutely fantastic, with fair pours and perfect preparation by the bartender. I’d rate this as one of the better experiences we’ve had in Boulder.

We chose McDevitt Taco Supply for our wedding dinner buffet at SkyView in Estes Park, and could not have been happier!! We also rented flatware, plates, water glasses, and napkins through McDevitt (which they set up). The food was fresh, delicious, and high-quality, and the service was unparalleled – Mike worked our wedding and did a phenomenal job!! We had two people with specialized dietary requirements, and he went above and beyond to make sure they had a great (and safe) plate of food to enjoy. He also made sure our dessert buffet was set up even though they weren’t supplying our desserts!! Additionally, he made sure my mom felt reassured about everything which is a whole task in itself hahaha. I also really appreciated the apps that were set up in the bridal suite for us to enjoy before we joined cocktail hour – we needed a quiet moment but were also starving. Thank you Mike and Sean for everything – we could not have been happier with our wedding dinner and the service provided!!! The only thing I am sad about is that we had to give away our leftovers since we were leaving for our honeymoon the next day lol

The Tropical Storm taco is amazing! Unique and delicious. Pork Belly was awesome as well. Their salsas are really good too. Cool little place. I suggest sitting outside. The only negative is the music inside is pretty loud. Hard to have a conversation. Sitting outside on a nice day is awesome though!

I got the braised beef, which was delicious. They have 3 different home made sauces. The pineapple habanaro was definitely my favorite! Theur Mexican street corn was pretty good, but it needed salt and it may have been frozen corn? It didn’t taste that fresh..

McDevitt catered our backyard end of summer party and it was outstanding! Friends and neighbors still reminisce with us about the taco cart. Sean was incredibly helpful to get us booked and the amazing crew of Sam & Adam served up delicious tacos for our guests. They took care of us, and we were able to enjoy time with our guests. We highly recommend catering by McDevitt!

A Valentine’s Day to Remember at the Best Taco Shop in Town!
From the moment we walked into this charming taco shop on Valentine’s Day, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for what would become an unforgettable dining experience. Gabby, our server, went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our evening was perfect. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for our experience made us feel truly special.
The culinary highlight of the night had to be the Tommy Knoxville Dry Rub Wings. They were nothing short of phenomenal – perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and packed with flavor. These wings set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and we were not disappointed.
For dessert, the s’mores quesadillas and dessert nachos were a revelation. The combination of sweet and savory, creamy and crunchy, was executed flawlessly. It was the perfect sweet touch to round off our meal, leaving us thoroughly impressed and utterly satisfied.
But let’s not forget the drinks – the variety of margaritas available was impressive, to say the least. Each margarita we tried was unique, showcasing a range of flavors that were both inventive and delicious. It’s clear that a lot of thought and expertise goes into their creation, making each sip as exciting as the last.
In conclusion, our Valentine’s date at this taco shop was an incredible experience from start to finish.
