I’ve been going to the Sub Station since 2010. Love the home town feel of the old location. This new restaurant has more of a chain restaurant feel. That being said. The sybe were off the chain. They have daily specials and everything’s fresh and clean. The service was fantastic. Love the garage doors for warmer weather.

I came in kinda last minute, hungry, doing laundry with nowhere else to go nearby. I was in a pinch – but as fate would have it, this place is awesome! Kierstin made me the best salad with these great cuts of meats and all the extra toppings I wanted. It wasn’t cheap, but so worth it! The girls running the store were super friendly and didn’t kick me out after close. Bravo! Thank you, I’ll be back again sometime for sure.

The food is ok compared to the older days on lady’s island. I recently ordered a large combo with a slice of cake, and was only giving 2 thin, flimsy pickles. I was told for extra pickles its $1. If I’m already spending $20 there I shouldn’t have to go and buy a jar of pickles for my other half of the sandwich.The old substation would never. I thought pickles were a free condiment like any other sub place.

The salad was a half salad compared to the salads gotten from the restaurant. I had to come back for salad dressing and she only gave me one . They usually give 2 for the chef salad. I did not get quality service.

First of all this place has a very nice staff. It’s clean and close to my hotel. I’m familiar with this brand. We have one in my home town. So , with that being said. I was very very disappointed when I received a Philly cheesesteak purchased by a co-worker that was a “stacked steak sandwich”! Steak was not chopped up grilled with the onions and peppers.
