We had such a great experience at Barrel & Vine this past Sunday for brunch with the family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything felt relaxed and enjoyable.
The ribeye steak sandwich was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best brunch items I’ve had in a while. It’s clear they care about quality and creating a great dining experience.
Highly recommend Barrel & Vine if you’re looking for a spot to enjoy great food and spend quality time with family. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a nice suprise after an improvised walking tour of the historic sites along the Sag Canal on a greay rainy day. This warm, inviting bistro up front, booths in the back spot had us happily enjoying a full bodied red paired with a savory crab cake starter in no time. Staff on every level was kind and just attentive enough so we could enjoy ourselves away for our half day excursion. The portobello steak was well receieved and devoured with a smile, the Burrata salad with steak on the side was more than enough to warm us up. It’s really wonderful to find a location like this when you don’t expect it. Go check out Barrel & Vine for yourself and see what we mean.

Barrel & Vine in Lemont is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and stylish — the perfect balance of classy and comfortable.

Our server Amanda was amazing — attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. She made fantastic recommendations from both the food and dessert menus. You can really tell she loves what she does!

The food was phenomenal — every dish came out perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The dessert selection is top-notch.

Whether you’re out for a date night, dinner with friends, or just a relaxing evening with great food and drinks, Barrel & Vine is an absolute must-visit in Lemont. Huge shoutout to Amanda for making our night extra special — we’ll definitely be back soon! ✨

The food was phenomenal— flavorful crab cakes, melt-in-your-mouth short ribs, and our new obsession: the Salty Caramel Cookie Skillet dessert. The wine pairings were excellent and perfectly recommended. Amanda was the absolute highlight—always one step ahead, incredibly personable, and genuinely invested in making our night perfect. Manager Grant even stopped by to ensure we had an amazing experience. Fantastic team effort all around. We’ll definitely be back!

Barrel and Vine consistently delivers an excellent dining experience. The food is top-notch, the service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our family has made it a tradition to celebrate birthdays here, and the Plainfield location continues to impress. Some of my personal favorites are the 90 Miles to Cuba and the Churrasco Plate with a side of Chimichurri Fries. Whether you’re looking for a great spot for a dinner date or a place to bring the whole family, Barrel and Vine hits the mark every time.

Met a friend here for a quick drink and was very impressed with the ambiance, appetizers, and the martinis were delicious! We had the grilled octopus and Brussels sprouts. Will definitely be back for dinner.

Date night brought us to Barrel & Vine. We heard about this restaurant through my son. So glad we did. The food and cocktails were fabulous!
There’s a small bar area when you walk in and a larger dimly lit dining room room toward the back. Our server was Kayla and she provided good service and was friendly.
My husband had one of their old fashioneds and I had a bees knees. Their bartender knew how to make the perfect bees knees. If you like bourbon, their bourbon list is a couple pages long and they stock some very hard to get and expensive bourbon.
My husband and I decided to get three small plates and an entrée and split everything. We started with the brie and fig crostini – creamy soft cheese with figs on top of a toasted bread with a side of honey. Tasty. Next we had the grilled Spanish octopus with potatoes and a chimichurri sauce. Great flavor, however, heavy on the potatoes and skimpy on the octopus. It looked nothing like the photo from the restaurant. You can see the difference in my photo of what we got versus their Facebook photo. The next plate was one of their salads, the burrata and prosciutto – mesclun greens and roasted plum tomatoes topped with prosciutto and burrata with a little pesto and balsamic glaze served with grilled bread. Again, great flavor and loved the creamy cheese. Our final item was the chicken paprikash – braised bone in chicken breast in a smoked paprika tomato sauce with crispy potato dumplings topped with sour cream. We ventured into something we haven’t had before, and I loved this Hungarian dish with smoky flavor and tender chicken.
Service was good, cocktails creative and food delicious. We’ll be back!

We came here for dinner and the food was delicious and our server was fabulous. The menu has a great variety for anything from salad to seafood to steaks. The atmosphere was nice although it can get a little noisy. There is a nice bar where you can grab a drink while you wait for your table. We will definitely be back to try more items!
