Before we even had a chance to fully walk into the restaurant, we were yelled at “We don’t have any more tables!” Not, it will be a few minutes or would you be willing to wait a few minutes. No greeting, no eye contact, just dismissal.
After being told they couldn’t seat us because there “wasn’t room,” we walked back to our car. One of the men came out and tried to smooth things over, asking if we were from around here. When we said we were visiting from out of town, he suggested a Waffle House if we get back on the highway. We politely told him no thank you we prefer to support local, family-owned spots that truly value community.
Unfortunately, this experience made us feel unwelcome before we ever even had the chance to sit down. Do not recommend, especially to those of darker skin tones.

This little gem of a diner has a wholesome, home-like atmosphere with friendly attentive staff and good home-cooked faire. An Inexpensive menu and generous portions make Shamrock an easy pick for those early mornings when you want a quick breakfast like mama used to make!

Stumbled in with Time to kill. Cleanest place I’ve ever eaten. Open-air kitchen so you can see the food being cooked. The family that runs it is so nice we talked a ton. What’s so recommend stopping by makes great unsweet tea and reasonable prices
