I stopped coming to this DQ because Amherst is SO much better. The blizzards are always poorly made at the Wellington DQ. However, today my daughter wanted ice cream and we live in Wellington. I got her a small blizzard with whipped topping. They handed me a half melted cup of blizzard soup. It’s 74 degrees outside, so being summer isn’t an excuse. They charged 50 cents for the whipped topping that was melted and the smallest amount you could give a person. It’s really disappointing to pay $5 for a small blizzard that is melted and has barely anything in it.

This is a locally owned DQ and they do NOT accept app coupons or participate in most national promotions. The wait for our order was longer than we have experienced at other DQ’s, but they do offer ice cream cakes and other pre packaged DQ standard products. The ice cream was ok, but nothing that really sets it apart – particularly when there is no value from the deals offered in the app. Overall acceptable, but we will find someplace else to stop next time we are in the area.

Let me start out by saying that the employees are amazing. As for the food, it’s good also. My biggest issue is the blizzard treats. I asked for an M&M blizzard and I received maybe 1 tablespoon of crushed M&M’s with a whole load vanilla ice cream. The blizzard is almost $7 and get barely any M&M’s. Are you serious?!
UPDATE 9/24/2024- paid almost $7 for a crispy chicken salad. Got cold chicken and 10 pieces. I think this was my last time at this DQ. Worst ever one I’ve been to.

I ordered a hamburger with only cheese. They gave me a sandwich regular hamburger with the ketchup mustard and pickles. I went up and told the lady and she said ok. She put in the order for my
Grandsons cheese only. Than she made me the get the hamburger my grandson took the bite and bring back up to the cash register. I showered her the condiments and the told her and showed he took a bite. She took it and slammed it into the trash and gave me a funny look. I proceeded to tell her Most places that make a mistake on the order don’t ask for it back. Dry disappointed in the attitude and service.
