No longer Krispy krunchy, but still great chicken. Everything seems to be the same except for the name. Compared to other locations, service and freshness of the chicken is superior here. My only issue is the with the homeless and dealers inside and outside of the store. It’s broad daylight and I still went in clutching my wallet :). I realize the business can’t control everything, but seems like they don’t deter any of it either. Oh well, I guess I have to put my big boy pants when ever I want fried chicken from this place. Either that or find a new location for my fried chicken fix! 🙂 oops! Forgot to take pictures of the chicken when I got home it was so good 🙂

This is the best Krispy Krunchy hands down. I tried them once before via delivery and was impressed by the freshness of the chicken. Don’t get me wrong, most KK’s have really good fried chicken, but this place seems to have been built with chicken sales in mind. Most others are retrofitted into a gas station convenience store that may or may not have the right room and facilities for making their famous fried chicken.
On top of all that, the service here is top notch. From the store clerk up front to the person making chicken. There was a wait for the wings, but otherwise all good.
Pro tip: call ahead for orders, especially larger ones.

Use to be Krispy krunchy chicken, now Chicken king. In glad they have added coleslaw to their menu. I got the spicy chicken sandwhich, ask then to add jalapeños. They’ll do it!

The chicken from KKC (Krispy Krunchy Chicken is exactly as the name implies, crispy & crunchy. The thighs, wings and even the chicken breast were super juicy and popping with flavor. The chicken is seasoned Louisiana style, and the skin has a delicious crunchy a spiced batter.
I had the pleasure of eating the honey butter biscuits, and they were DIVINE.
They are drizzled with honey and butter and are light, flaky and addictingly delicious.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is open 24H, but the fryer closes at 8PM daily.
You owe it to yourself, stop reading this review now, and head over to Krispy Krunchy for some fine chicken and some of those lip-snacking honey butter biscuits.
