Disappointed does not begin to describe my experience tonight. I love Mexican food and was so excited for a local, small family business to try. So I ordered way too much food, but that is not my complaint. I ordered a carne asada burrito, chile relleno, birria tacos and three large salsas (because she said its home made). They charged me for 3 chips and salsas and when I questioned it she gave me attitude, thats just what I charge. So really this was very expensive its was over $80 ($8 each for the chips and salsa). The burrito is so bland zero flavor, the Chile relleno is more like a soup than a stuffed pepper, you cant even taste the pepper at all, its just soup and bread with a little ground beef. The birria tacos are so dry and the broth is greasy and flavorless, zero spice. The spicy salsa is not even spicy just tastes like Cheyenne, the Pico is obviously homemade, the green salsa is the only good thing. I spent over $80 and was left with greasy flavorless disappointment. The place was cute and clean, but the food was terrible.

Absolutely delicious and authentic. Move over Don Taco! Portions are good – 2 tacos without a side were enough for a nice lunch. The owner is friendly and warm. Seating area inside is cozy yet adorable with plenty of outdoor seating.

Absolutely love Papasito’s Mexican Food!
Such great, friendly people and amazing food. My wife is obsessed with the shrimp nachos—and honestly, who doesn’t love the churros?!
I ordered a burrito so big I had to cut it in half and turned it into two meals. No complaints there
Can’t wait to come back and see you again!

Wow what a great experience!!! The food here was excellent and extremely fresh. The lady who worked here said nothing was frozen and it TASTED like it. The beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. The churros are worth starting a war over (my husband tried to eat some!). Just wow. Cannot recommend enough.

Delicious food. A little on the costly side, but we’re coming from Chicago where we have Mexican restaurants all over the area. Fresh ingredients, looks family owned. Super friendly service and very welcoming. We got the burritos and they were full of flavor.

This is getting a 5 star for the hipster atmosphere it hits the nail on the head in that area; right down to the shared space between it and a car tweaking business.
They of course have great sound because of the shared space and it looks like they may be hosting websites or mining or something as well.
The menu is basic, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and sometimes they have tamales. They have a generous kids menu too.
Everything is super fresh and very well prepared and presented.
I think our waiter is the most adorable little guy I’ve seen in a long time. I just want to hug him. lol but I’ll tip him instead, and you should too when you plan your next Mexican food adventure in Tarpon springs here, at Papasitos FRESH Mexican food restaurant!

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday. Cute restaurant. If I hadn’t found them on Google I would have never noticed them despite driving past them all the time.
The service was great and the food delicious. Loved the tamales and enchiladas! The rest of group ordered burritos and everyone was happy and satisfied with their food!

The enchiladas were really good! The rice and black beans were good as well. Portions were just right and we left full. The guac was nice and fresh! The red and green and green sauces weren’t spicy at all, and the green sauce had great flavor!
A pretty good selection of drinks and food.
The atmosphere has a relaxed vibe and the staff were all friendly as well.
My only constructive feedback was that I didn’t care for the chips. They appeared homemade, which is fine. They were a bit thicker than what you’re typically used to. I’m not sure if it was because they weren’t quite fresh or too thick but they were pretty hard to chew. Regardless, we’ll be back!

I had some guests in town and wanted to try something different. I haven’t found it easy to find good Mexican food here in town, so give this place a shot. It is indeed fresh food. I even witnessed them doing taste test to make sure the guacamole was just right and then adding additional ingredients. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The quesadilla was filling and really nailed it. I will be giving this place another shot and everyone in our group was happy with their order and it was a highlight of the day.

Took my daughter’s for girls night. They loved the carne quesadilla and the chicken tacos. I had the vegetarian burrito. It was really mushy and hardly any vegetables. The churros are fresh and fantastic. Our server was super sweet. Great atmosphere.
