2024 August 2 We patronized this location. Upon entering, We were promptly greeted, welcomed, and advised to seat ourselves, and someone would be over to take our order. This establishment had great music playing softly, had televisions, and gaming machines. They serve alcoholic beverages. We sat in a booth and were promptly brought menus and placed our order for beverages. We easily ordered with Dawn, who was very knowledgeable about the menu items. Our food took a little while to come out, but it was not annoyingly long. It was well worth the wait. Lobster Bisque was a little cold when it got to me but still delicious. My salad and catfish tasted fresh and was excellent with the house made vinaigrette. The seafood egg rolls were fine. The restroom was clean, tidy, and had ample supplies. I highly recommend this location.

The wife and I went out on a date. I honestly thought I was on an episode of bar rescue. The server was nice but couldn’t tell us any of the adult beverage menu. We asked for the crab dip as an appetizer. It came out with the main meal. The dip was just crab and cheese. No flavoring. The main course was great though. While we were waiting for our meal though, the other waiter came up to six different times with food that was not ours but asked if it was. It also just seemed like a hang out at the bar for the employees while the owner sat at a table talking to his buddies. And last, you pay $2 extra for sausage. We paid $2 for 6 slices of sausage.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. Sadly, the experience was lackluster at best. The place was empty the weekend afternoon we ate there. I really like the decor and the nice, big, roomy tables. I suspect they have larger crowds on Friday & Saturday evenings.
Everything we ordered was fried, big mistake! The food was super greasy and either overcooked or undercooked. It tasted like the grease hadn’t been changed from the night before. Calamari was frozen from a bag and way too rubbery to eat. Hushpuppies looked great on the outside but really mealy on the inside. Ordered “saesoned” fries… but how the heck do you serve seasoned fries with NO taste to them? No joke, the fries didn’t have one flake of salt on them! They looked and tasted like they were just sprinkled with paprika for color. The fish was overcooked and hard.
As always, I try to include something positive in my reviews, so I will say, in addition to the nice atmosphere, the server was very pleasant. I can only report on what I purchased. Perhaps if you order/eat shellfish, the experience will be different.

My husband and I travel 95 often and never knew this gem was here! We ordered Shrimp & Catfish Basket and Catfish PO Boy. To say EVERYTHING was served FRESH and very well seasoned, is a huge understatement. The Cole Slaw was amazing. The Shrimp Basket portion was Colossal! It was actually 3 meals for my husband. The value price in comparison to the meal received was incomprable!! EXCELLENT PRICES!!!! The wait time to receive food was minimal.
From the moment we entered the establishment, we were given superb and personable treatment. Rebecca, our Server, Is THE BEST! She went above and beyond to ensure our first visit will not be our las. And it will not! Her warm friendly smile is a bonus. We informed Management of the asset Rebecca is to the establishment and would pray that she is awarded monetarily and in front of her peers and colleagues. Not only did Rebecca provide EXCELLENT service to ourselves, we also overheard the other table conversing about the polished service Rebecca provided.
To the Management team, PLEASE ALWAYS value your staff and NEVER “cut corners” providing your customers excellent food, service and atmosphere. It shall work for your good in the end!
Seafood lovers, if you are looking for THE SPOT, this is it!! If you are not a seafood lover, patronize Smithfield Seafood one time, you will be a seafood lover!

Food was amazing. Servers names was Brittany and it was her birthday! Which made the environment even more friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the frog legs, seafood egg rolls, and I created my own snow crab leg and sausage boil (medium seasoning). Soooo good!

It’s going to be a NO for me. I ignored the reviews about portions and I should not have. I paid $17 for crab & spinach dip (with extra nan) and seafood eggrolls. The dip in the container below was less than 1/4 inch deep and swimming in grease. The flavor was okay; a smidge salty but okay. The size of the egg rolls were okay for the price. The food overall was just okay but not worth the price. I’ve been trying to support my local businesses and this was my first time here. Unfortunately, it will be my last.

We were down at the outlet stores doing some shopping, and decided to get something to eat before we left for home. We settled on Smithfield seafood, the place doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We were seated and decided to get the Big Easy Experience, and boy was it big and at a very decent price. We had to take over half the food home and it lasted for two more days. Crab legs, dungeness crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, potatoes, corn and seasoning it was well worth the 75 Dollars ( with military discount). Next time we are in town we are going again.

Awesome, Awesome, Great food, Excellent Service, Wonderful Atmosphere, and they have live music on the weekends!!! We travel all over the USA for our job, and most of the time we spend the winter down in the gulf, and we know seafood and Cajun, they have great crawfish, shrimp and quite possibly the best froglegs, oh! and the freshest pork skins, this is the coast up north!!!! Come and check it out!!! You will love it here!!!!
