Received burnt wings and I think the kitchen ran out of buffalo sauce. We ordered, ham and jalapeño and got zero jalapeño. I called Today to discuss what happened and the female that answered the phone, “anahi” was so rude: Halfway through telling her what happened she hung up on me. Ordered from this place plenty of times, but not anymore.
After voicing my concerns, the owner Told his employees to tell us there’s nothing he can do for us and refused to talk to us. I requested twice to talk to the owner, he basically to told me to kick rocks.
Btw, Thank you for the metal tray, maybe I’ll make my own pizza next time instead of ordering from here.

I usually don’t post negative reviews unless they’re important to bring to attention. However, I’m genuinely puzzled how this establishment managed to earn a 4.5-star rating. Perhaps I should give their pizzas a try, but I’m not surprised that their salad was so unappetizing. It’s quite common for places like this to serve less-than-fresh salads. I found half of red lettuce and old soggy lettuce mixed in at the bottom. As expected, I would find. I was hoping that when I open the box everything is acceptable. I don’t think I’ll be returning. If you’re as picky as I am, you might want to save your money and spend it somewhere else. Don’t take this personal.

What a great surprise! Our usual pizza spot is closed on Monday, so we had to find a new spot and Deno’s was absolutely delicious! We had the chicken wings with the sauce on the side – they came out perfectly cooked and super crispy! Our pizza “Deno’s Special“ with adding pepperoni was AMAZING! Just full of delicious toppings, super crispy crust, and just the right amount of cheese! The wait staff was very friendly and lots of room for eating there! We will definitely be back!

Hands down, the best pizza I have had since coming to Arizona over a year ago! I’ll go one step further and say one of the best I’ve had in my whole life! Well worth the money! The toppings were fresh and plentiful, making it a real meal! I’ve found my go-to pizza place here in Surprise! Also, the customer service was amazing. Anahi was so friendly and helpful when ordering, giving 5 stars, deserving more if possible! Please give them a try; you won’t regret it!

Hands down the best pizza around. We live in Gilbert but have relatives that live in the West Valley. Everytime we go to our relatives on the westside they have Deno’s pizza. We have never had pizza this good anywhere. We have tried soo many places around town especially Gilbert and I wish so bad we had a Deno’s Pizza in Gilbert. I look forward to the next family event so I can get some Deno’s Pizza. Love it. ❤️

Amazing food! I’m from the Chicagoland area and Ive been looking for a taste of home, and this is it! We had mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza and when I say delicious… I mean delicious!!! 10/10 would recommend!

I was excited to hear about a Chicago tavern style pizza place that was in Surprise from a coworker. I went and tried it out today and it was absolutely delicious. I got Italian beef, garlic, onions, and Giardiniera. Cooked perfectly, tasted amazing. I’ll definitely drive another 45 minutes back out there to get it again.

In this foodie’s opinion, Deno’s Pizza in Surprise is now the best thin crust pie l’ve had since moving to AZ over seven years ago! The combination of the generous fresh toppings, delicious sauce and extraordinary thin well executed crust prepared by a pizza maker from Chicago resulted in near pizza perfection. As a native Chicagoan who prefers thin crust pizza, I highly recommend!!

Deno’s has quite possibly the best Chicago-style pizza outside of the greater Chicago area. Top to bottom end to end, this is about his authentic as it gets. Unlike most pizza parlors out here (as well as far-flung suburban Chicago) their thin crust has that perfect tender top but cracker base and the the toppings are piled high and cooked to perfection; none of that nugget-style, seems like it came out of a deep freezer, Italian sausage.
