I was so worried they wouldn’t be back after the pandemic as so many places never reopened. Much to my excitement, and since I haven’t worked dt in such a long time, they are open and their food is as good as ever! The lasagna is fantastic and so are their meatballs. Locarb menu gives you several options and the salad isn’t a small, tiny salad, it A SALAD freshly made and hasn’t been sitting around forever. There are a few small tables outside the store front, but this is really grab and go.

Please, go try them for yourself and support a great, local small business. I don’t think you’ll regret it!

I’ve been coming around here regularly for about a year now. The family that runs this place is charming and friendly. Their chicken parmesan, rosa sauce, and lasagna are great! Hearty and filling, excellent amount of cheese. They have good spaghetti and penne. I HIGHLY recommend their chicken wild rice soup. The owner really does care about the quality of his food and that people are happy with it, newcomers and regulars.

They are located in the skyway of the Lumen building where I work at. I’m downtown here temporary. The food is still good as it used to be. When we worked down here five years ago. The owner is still friendly. I got the large order of lasagna. I ate some for lunch and I took the rest home for dinner to share with ny husband, that’s how much food they give you. When a restaurant, it’s still open and has survived the pandemic and they almost have five stars, you know, their food, it’s really good.

Best lasagna I’ve ever eaten!! I can’t wait to try the other foods here. No wonder I always see a long line at lunchtime. I caught them on a Friday when it was less busy. And the price for what you get is reasonable. I’ll be back for sure.

Nice mom and pop spot in the downtown skyways. The hot beef sandwich with hot peppers was satisfying.

It’s a quick and good spot in the skyway. There’s not much seating as it’s outside the store, but the meatball sub was tasted great.

Sorrento Cucina Due is my go to Italian spot downtown. I love that their menu is a la carte. Authentic Italian recipes. It dawned on me after a summer trip (in which we stopped in Sorrento Italy) that menu items I was seeing in Italy were in his menu. And top it all off with a cannoli! I am not kidding, owner wants to serve food just like they do in Italy. I had the meatball in a cup, the meatballs are the best I’ve ever had.

One of my go-to lunch places when I’m working downtown. I truly have never had something from there that I didn’t like. The salads, Penne Rosa with chicken parm, chicken wild rice soup, and lasagna are all so good. The owners and workers are always very kind and helpful. I’m always recommending it to my coworkers if they want to try a new place.

This is a hidden gem. I’ve told people about this place, sent people here, brought people here. Really good. I would move mountains to get the hoagie roll back though. On a roll, with giardiniera, the beef here was my favorite sandwich in the city. Better than Uncle Franky’s, better than anything I’d had outside of Chicago, where the competition is close. It’s still a great neighborhood lunch spot hidden in the Skyway, but just consider it: bring back the hoagie!!!
