As for the food, it was delicious! Very interesting menu. I would say that the calamari was my favorite.
I did try a martini, which was very good as well! Next time I will have to try with the cheese stuffed olives.
I’m sure they’d kill it on one of those Caesar salad martinis I’ve seen online.
The service was great! The young lady at the front was very attentive and reassuring. Excellent customer service from her specifically. We showed up quite early for our reservation. Best to show up anywhere from 5-10 minutes before your reservation so you don’t have to wait- their schedule is pretty tight (which isn’t a bad sign!)
Overall. Great experience. Thank you!
What really sets Martinis apart, though, is the service and the care. You can feel the pride in the pacing, the attention to detail, and how the staff takes ownership of your experience without hovering. I’ve traveled all over the country, and this will go down as one of my favorite restaurant experiences, hands down.
We had their special and it did not disappoint!
Our box with left overs was even labeled and ready for the refrigerator, how sweet!
We will definitely be back.
The drinks, appetizers, soup and salad were pretty good, but the evening went downhill from there. Our server couldn’t keep anyone’s order straight. Brought over drinks rung in for another table. Put down most of the entrees in the wrong places. Simple requests like “no broccolini” or “no sauce” and “sauce on the side” weren’t honored as promised. My New York Strip steak was overcooked, tough, and hard to cut. My husband’s chicken piccata was oily and of mediocre quality, he said it was comparable to Olive Garden. The salmon was dry.
While we made choices about coffee and after-dinner drinks, the server walked by and casually tossed a menu without even looking or handing it me. It just felt really awkward and unnecessary. While the olive oil citrus cake sounded good, it was so dry and didn’t have much flavor. The server forgot my husband’s decaf coffee that he ordered with his dessert, but by that point we just didn’t bother anymore.
I think the most awkward part were other random people walking through our “private dining area” to access the restrooms. It really could have been set-up and handled much differently.
The evening fell short of the fine dining experience we expected, between the quality of the food preparation and the server’s lack of skills. We left disappointed and would not recommend this spot.
My girlfriend really liked the Throwback Martini. The red sangria was pretty good – refreshing but a bit sweet for my taste.
The brussels sprouts and coconut shrimp were both delicious.
