This was our first time at Apollos. We decided to bring the kids after their soccer games. It wasn’t busy. We were taken to a table as soon as we walked in. We ordered drinks first of course. We were excited that they had our favorite, Ale-8. But… they didnt have anything for kids (no lemonade, fruit punch, etc.), which was a bummer. It took a while for the waitress to come take our order and then for us to get our food. When the food finally came to the table, it wasn’t hot. We could tell it had been sitting for a while. We ordered 2 pizzas and some wings. All of it came out lukewarm, almost cold. Which was a little disappointing and the main reason for the neutral review. The place was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean. We will more than likely give them one more try another time to see if the food comes out better, but if not, we will probably stick with snappys in the future.

One bite everyone breaks the rules.
Definitely a nice place to chill.
I gave the pizza a 6.9.
We ordered the 14 inch one topping pepperoni.
The pepperoni was great and cooked crispy.
Sauce had a tad bit of spice but good.
The cheese was average.
The crust was similar to poppa John’s.
Overall score was good.

Haven’t tried the food at Apolo Pizza yet, but I’m already impressed! Love that it’s a locally owned spot here in Corbin, KY. The place looks inviting, staff is friendly, and I can’t wait to come back soon to try their pizza. Always good to support local businesses!

we saw their post and decided to go give it a try, full on ready to have to wait, we understand kinks needing worked out!! They were pretty full but we got right in. Tried three of the 7 off my list to try ❤️ can’t wait to try the green hippie, they didn’t have all the ingredients for that one! Also, banana peppers, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms. Pizzas pictured are the it’s always sunny, Thai no mite, and Kentucky hot Browne. The hot Browne was my favorite of the three, although all three were delicious! Server was great. And it was her first day. I know we will be back!

Wonderful addition to downtown Corbin! The dining room is huge and everything is brand new. Great beer selection and the classic Apollo style pizza that has been loved since the 80s. The music playlist was great as well as plenty of TVs to catch a game on. Great tribute to Roy Kidd in the front of the dining room.

Went there on Feb 13th. Wasn’t too busy upon arrival. Sat down and waited 15 minutes for service during which time I observed 4 other groups be seated and an individual who sat at the bar and was served before me. They were clearly understaffed but not apologetic. Cauliflower crust pizza tasted good. Unsweet tea tasted good. Did not appreciate paying at the table electronically with the server holding the device in your face with high pressure eye contact expecting a tip. I recommend the pizza but only for takeout. The prices were high considering the poor service.

First time here. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Wings was mid grade. Pizza was 7ish out of 10. Sweet tea was a 10. Need to turn the radio down just a hair. All and all good pizza good service will return.

It’s a chain so the food is pretty standardized.
Highly recommend the cauliflower crust pizzas they do this very well in comparison to other places.
Their specialty pizzas are a good variety of flavors and while the rest of the menu is minimal choices the choices available offer a bit of variety.
They have an extensive draft beer list and offer other adult beverages as well.
Atmosphere is lively and fun with multiple big screens for different sports games. Staff are all friendly and engaging. We’ve been twice now and will be back.
It makes for a fun date night when you pair it with the pinball museum/arcade across the street.

Me and my coworker got a pizza from here to share on our lunch break and HOLY SMOKES it was good! Nice and fresh, loaded with toppings and cheese, and didn’t have to wait long to get it. Definitely will be coming back to try more menu items! Also, go easy on the staff, they’re just getting started and they’ll get better, so give them some grace and support

My family and I live here in Corbin and we never get anything different – restaurant wise. We’ve been waiting about two years for Apollo Pizza to come in and I’ve been dying to try it ever since it was announced. We got there and waited for about forty-five minutes in a line that wasn’t even that long. As we approached the front of the line, we saw the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was absolutely shocked at how much space there still was and that there should have been more seating. Music was loud and blaring that I couldn’t hear hardly anything and I came out with a terrible headache. And the service? Don’t even get me started. We saw people that were already done with their food and just waiting for the check! And the tables that were empty stayed dirty for quite a while, waiting to be wiped off. Not to mention, there were staff just disappearing in the back for a while. There was a girl who I noticed from my school, standing there for thirty minutes to chat with her friends instead of checking and waiting on her tables. When we were finally getting sat at a table, we had to wait a moment to order our drinks and food. By then we already realized that it was going to take hours to be able to get our food and be checked on that we just ordered our food all at once to save time. We ordered two waters, a Pepsi, a pepperoni pizza, cheese bread, some banana pepper bites, and a dessert (to-go). We waited forever to receive our drinks and my water didn’t taste quite right. The woman didn’t even make eye contact or talk to us while she handed us our drinks. I saw another woman do the same to another table. We sat there for an hour just waiting on food, and when it did get here, the banana peppers were cold and the pizza was mediocre. The cheese bread was the only great thing about this place and it still didn’t make it worth the wait. We asked to take the banana peppers off our bill because we waited hours to get our food just for them to be cold and the woman seemed irritated, sternly assuring us it would only take two minutes. TWO MINUTES.. while we waited TWO HOURS. The cinnamon rolls that we ordered to go weren’t even brought to us, nor do I think they were presented on the bill. We were only checked on once the whole entire time. What a shame of what this place could have been. We won’t be coming back.
