We went out to celebrate a friend and right away you walk in and the vibe is so beautiful. Service was amazing! The food was delicious! All around we had such a great time. The manager Pat was so kind to all of us! Highly recommend coming here. I will definitely be coming again!

I visited this restaurant with four friends, and we had a reservation for the rooftop. The atmosphere was great—clean, inviting, and a perfect spot to enjoy the evening. Our server, Katrina, was outstanding—very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the night.
The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster rolls were incredible. Everyone in our group ordered something different, and every single dish was amazing. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent service and food. I’d highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

We couldn’t have picked a better location for our wedding – everything was perfect! Our guests loved the food so much, Abbey and team bad everything set up and were super excited to jump in at any given moment for assistance! We had the most amazing time! Would recommend to everyone!

Neat place. Two levels and spaces for private parties. We had lunch — the small plate the crab cakes and the pork belly tacos. The entree salad with a chicken breast was delicious. The tacos were just okay. The pork belly was not done crispy and kind of tasteless. Good but not great. The green salsa tasted commercial but was okay. The crab cakes were delicious and the herbed aioli added so much flavor.

2 weeks ago we made a 7:15 p.m. reservation for a table on the rooftop. When we arrived the hostess wanted to sit us on the lower level. No, we have a reservation for a table on the rooftop. We showed her proof of the reservation. We are here to listen to the band. After a few minutes we were told we could go upstairs to the rooftop. When we got upstairs we were told no tables were available and we would have to sit at the bar in the other room. No, we reserved a table for the rooftop. After a couple of minutes we were told a high top table was available. We said that’s fine. When we got to the hightop there were no chairs and we would have to eat standing up. We told the hostess we were not going to stand. I didn’t get dressed up to stand and eat my dinner. She told us to wait here. She went to see what she could do. As we were waiting we noticed the clean empty table in front us. We decided to sit down. Waiter Nick came by introduced himself and handed us the menus. A couple minutes later we noticed 3 tables were available. We don’t know what the issue or confusion was to get us a table. Craziness! If they wanted us to wait a couple minutes for a table we would have. Nick the waiter was wonderful. The food was good. The band was awesome. The 3% service fee not so good.

We recently hosted a baby shower at The Elm in LaGrange. We were so impressed and so happy at how well everything went. We had so many compliments on the shower since we hosted. From the initial contact through the day of the event was a smooth seamless process & not stressful at all.
Abby R. took care of us and handled the entire process and it was wonderful!!! The beautiful room, the delicious food, fun mimosa bar and such a great and helpful staff made our event memorable. She took our theme ideas and helped us, with the staff to pull it all together the morning of the shower! I highly recommend hosting your next event at the Elm!

I used the rooftop space for my wedding ceremony and reception. It was the perfect backdrop to my fairytale. Absolutely gorgeous! The Elm staff was kind, helpful, and professional. It was the PERFECT venue for many reasons:
AMAZING FOOD – I was told by many of my guests that it is the best wedding food they ever had. I can’t help but agree! We got to customize our menu, showcasing my husband’s and I’s tastes.
ACCOMMODATING STAFF – After the ceremony, the staff changed over all furniture, set out food, and made a plate for my husband and I to enjoy privately. You can tell they’ve done this before.
SPACIOUS VENUE – We were able to utilize all rooms/levels for photos and had a private room across the rooftop to house the wedding party’s things. I felt welcome the entire day!
**We supplied our own decorations and table linens.

Amazing staff and absolutely delicious food! The team was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience special. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible—even to the second floor with an elevator—which is a huge plus. The setup is gorgeous, especially the rooftop dining area.
We recently celebrated a 40th birthday here, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The bartenders were incredibly knowledgeable, crafting fantastic drinks and impressive mocktails. Highly recommend for both special occasions and a great date night out!

The Elm is our go-to spot in the western suburbs for any and all occasions! The service is amazing- everyone is so friendly and on top of it. They have a fabulous menu and a cool, stylish city vibe that you don’t usually find in the suburbs.
They’re also the best venue in the area for hosting all types of events and our favorite caterer for parties at home. We also love their comedy nights and live music! Highly recommend for date night, family dinners, girls’ night- you name it!

Booked through resy for a group of 10 and the team was more than accommodating. We had some special requests due to allergies and intolerances in our group and our server went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe for us which led to such an enjoyable experience. I wish I would have remembered her name because she deserves the recognition. Great atmosphere with gorgeous plants and the food was phenomenal. I think we tried about half of the lunch menu and everyone was pleased.
