Hop Tung Restaurant is a true classic. The food is consistently delicious, full of flavor, and served hot and fresh every time. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the menu has all the comfort-food favorites you expect from a great Chinese restaurant. Service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and familiar. This is one of those places you keep coming back to because it never disappoints.

Place was empty should have taken that as a hint.. Food is extremely salty, rices had major feezer burn, you could taste the entire fridge aromas. Pho soup tasted like firework powder and their bobas we’re 90% syrup. Asked to exchange my boba drink and they said they couldn’t take it off the tab. Waiter was at least nice but absolutely first and last time I’ll be going there.

I had such a great dine-in experience at Hop Tung, and I really want to highlight my server Kayla because she was amazing. From the start, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely took the time to help when I mentioned that I follow a vegan diet.
She went out of her way to recommend options and suggested the kung pow tofu, which absolutely blew me away. It was exactly what I was craving—crispy, flavorful, and so satisfying. I never would have thought to order it on my own, and it ended up being one of the best veg dishes I’ve had.
Kayla was always checking in at just the right moments and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I really hope I get to be served by her again!

Had pointed out to the waitress that the walnuts in the honey walnut shrimp was burnt almost and she basically tried to dumb it down like roasted means it’s almost like it’s burnt and no flavor… ummm not quite… then when getting the tab I asked why the beverage was almost $6 to which she responds oh yeah it’s just how it is no actually the menu says it’s $3.25 not $5.95.

Service was great, our server was friendly and cordial. Food arrived fast and it was hot. Pho was lacking some flavor but it was still on the good side. Bubble teas were too sweet. Place is dark, it needs better lighting. Restrooms were clean. Enough parking spots.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Apparently they don’t know how to read or follow instructions. On two different orders on two separate occasions, I specifically stated NO ONIONS and NO JALAPEÑOS on my pho. Well guess what? There were a buttload of onions and jalapeños on both orders. The first time was a Favor delivery and I let it go – just picked out the offending onions but the second time around, I called them right away to complain. I had to throw the food away because of the strong taste of onions. They said the next time I came back, they would replace the two orders at no cost. They lied. They did not want to replace either one of the orders. After I left, very angry, they called me and said they would replace only one order at no cost. They had the nerve to tell me that it was my fault because I had not checked the food before I left. Yes – they blamed me for their mistakes. So their food tasted nasty because of the onions. And their service was terrible. I will never eat there nor order food from them either. If you like paying a lot of money and not getting correct orders, then go ahead and go there. Otherwise, stay away.

An experience we wished we did not have. We suspected something when entering and half the resturant had been blockaded by tables and chairs. Waiter was kind and did what he could do with the limited support that he had. We were a table of two and service was extremely discouraging even though there was three other like kind parties in the resturant. Food was subpar and lacked flavor and quality texture. Pho soup was extremely small and beef was tough. Hofen noodles were over cooked and lacked flavor as well. Dumplings were good ,just a bit hard but had some substance to it. My guess there wasn’t enough staff . One waiter and cook taking orders for take out and cashing out take out orders. Hope it was just a lack in staff but definitely will not venture back into the establishment any time soon.

loved this place! 10/10 food was super yummy, we got some steamed pork dumplings & an order of beef steak pho. the prices were decent compared to other Vietnamese places I’ve been to. loved the atmosphere, it was dark & quiet. the Thai bubble tea was great! will definitely be coming back.

The lady at the front, I think her name was Shruthi?, was super sweet and even recommended some menu items which were super tasty. She looked a super cute too btw. The fried egg rolls were so good as well as the General Tso.

This place is not the same quality anymore. The server is nice and professional but the food seems reheated and very blend. We returned one of the plates and the brought back the same one. Very expensive and disappointing
