Loved the atmosphere! We stopped in for lunch so my husband could try a cider they were serving on tap and were completely blown away by food. What a sleeper! The Philly sandwich was packed with flavor. Beer selection was awesome- they have the lotto machines, pool tables and what looks like live bands often. Great find! Highly recommend.

The food and drinks here are wonderful. Huge sandwiches, burgers and salads. We’ve had the same server twice now, and he has always been super friendly and helpful. They are open the latest compared to other locations in Hillsboro, and have karaoke multiple days a week, every week. My only gripe about the atmosphere would be the layout is a little nonfunctional and can feel cramped (not the fault of the owners). As for pricing, drinks are very reasonable, but food can get on the more expensive side for a bar since they charge +$3 for fries on any of theirs sandwiches and burgers. Also, passing along a credit card processing fee to the customer is poor business practice.

This was our first time at Hillsboro Bar and Grill, and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is amazing—super chill, relaxed, and the Halloween decor gave it such a fun vibe. At first, we weren’t sure about the setup—whether to wait for a table or order at the bar—but it was so laid-back that we just found a seat and settled in.
We came mainly for the gambling machines, but everything else exceeded our expectations. My fiancé ordered our drinks at the bar—he got a Modelo and I had a Boneyard—and they were both excellent. For food, we tried the Cowboy Burger with fries, and wow… it was incredible. I was honestly in awe—it was that good!
The service was also fantastic. The staff checked in on us without being intrusive, making sure we were comfortable and happy with our food. Overall, it was a relaxed, fun experience, and we left wanting to come back. We’d definitely recommend Hillsboro Bar and Grill to anyone looking for great drinks, amazing food, plenty of entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere!

Great place for casual hangout with friends. Food was really good but the drinks were not so great. Beers were good but the Cocktails were quite weak. Of course, the Cocktails were really cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Service was really good though despite the late hour and mostly occupied tables.

Went here for a lunch meeting for work. The atmosphere is nice..has a welcoming feel. The furniture is good..nice wood high tops ..
The food..for the price..meehh. I had the bacon cheeseburger. A typically good baseline of any eatery. The beef patty was thick. The bacon was thick. Good amount of vegetable ratio.. but some how..the bun was not great. And the beef petty..while thick..tasted like a previously frozen puck of meat. The fries …an extra 3 bucks. .. were great tasting. But there wasn’t very many in the serving. Glad o also ordered the fried mushrooms. They were good. But not sure that they were 10 dollars good. Decent tap selection.. I went with the lager.. from steeple jack. The bartender/waitress.. no complaints at all…she was great. She kept pushing the ranch dressing..so I went for it for dipping. And yeah..it was tasty. I would come back again to try more stuff..but. maybe I’ll be a bit more aware of what I’m buying. For two people. Burger fries and two beers each. 100 bucks with tip. So for the quality and portion size..I think it’s a bit speedy. But for a beer and the bar vibe they offer…yeah. it was good. Maybe I was just to early in the day to really enjoy the place. I recommend giving them a go if you want a nice place for a mediocre burger.

Great little hole in the wall place I went there for Christmas Eve Dinner With Some Friends The Food Was Awesome I ordered The Bacon Chreese Burger With Fries And Onion Rings. The waitress was super nice.and very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back!!

HBG is the perfect hang out spot! The bar has been entirely updated inside and it’s GORGEOUS! The staff is attentive and so friendly. The drinks are cold and tasty, and their burgers and steak are to die for! There are plenty of other activities for people to do, granted some of the options are limited due to COVID. They have 6 video lottery machines, 3 pinball machines, and 2 pool tables. When they are allowed to have karaoke again, it’s definitely something you won’t want to miss! They have the best karaoke in Washington County and it is a blast! Truly a great time for singers and guests. This bar has been the hangout spot for me and my friends for the past 3 years and it’s been a joy watching it evolve over the years. If you’re looking for a fun hangout spot with great food, music, atmosphere, and staff… Hillsboro Bar & Grill is the place for you!!
