Khun Yao Thai is the best Thai food I have had in all of Virginia. This is my spot!

I have traveled around the country & been to many places. This is my favorite. The peanut chicken and the Paid Thai with extra chicken is my go to for me and my wife’s special meal.

I work in the area & this has been my go to restaurant in Arlington.

Peera is the chef who makes it sizzle for my big appetite

This is a wonderful Thai Restaurant with a cozy feel and great food! I came for dinner on a Tuesday, and there was plenty of seating available.

I ordered the Three Flavored Chicken, which was breaded and fried bite size chicken pieces in a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce! It’s listed as the most popular entree item on the menu, and I can see why! It’s delicious, and it’s not a dish that is common at other Thai Restaurants! I noticed their menu also had some other items that I only see in some authentic Thai restaurants, like sun-dried beef. I didn’t get it this time, but will definitely be coming back to try it! I also tried the Pad Gra Pow with Shrimp and Mango Sticky rice for dessert, both of which were delicious!

The owners were also lovely! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good, authentic Thai Food in Arlington! And I highly recommend the Three Flavored Chicken!

I really wanted to like this place but it disappointed. The food has no flavor but the portions are generous.

We ordered the Tom Yum soup, pad thai, and Pad See Ew. None of these items were good or had any flavor.

I would not recommend ordering from here.

I thought the food was fantastic and had some fairly extensive unique signature dish options to try. We enjoyed the drunken noodles and ventured to try the crispy duck which was great. While I found the portions to be slightly smaller than the previous restaurant (which previously were HUGE) the flavors were significantly improved and overall an upgrade in my opinion. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic food! My boyfriend and I got the red curry and yellow curry. We inhaled it! Couldn’t eat it fast enough. Both curries were fragrant, cooked to perfection, expertly seasoned and so, so fresh! You can feel the love and taste it too. 10/10 would recommend and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for feeding us!

Up and coming hidden gem. Pad Thai was al dente. Vegan options delicious and surprising. Substitutions and suggestions were helpful. Quite yummy. Thank you for a wonderful and nourishing meal.

Fenestrated Adanson’s monstera made the atmosphere cozy and upscale especially for the strip mall.

We’ll be back. Sorry for Italian words. Definitely Thai.

Incredible value lunch special! Comes with iced tea, and a very small portion of soup. The main was alright, nothing special. Big portion, not much meat inside. Tasty, but uninspired. I would eat here again. Service was quick and friendly.

Home Style Thai Cuisine indeed. Picked up a to go order on a cool night and everything was excellent! Had the Ka Nam Jeeb dumplings, Fried rice and Pad Se Ew with thin rice noodles. Was sad when Pilan Thai closed, glad Grandma is back!

They still have lunch special, ice-tea, one small spring roll, soup and one lunch special for $12.00. Have not been this restaurant after the original owner sold the restaurant 5 years ago. Good everything.
