The employee that was making our sandwich must not like his job. He seemed very unhappy to be there. When my daughter asked for mayonnaise he got a pissed look on his face and put 1/2 the bottle of mayo on her sandwich. She ended up just throwing in the trash when we got home. Not a good experience- I expect more from Subway.

Picked up an online order today that was for 2:30. Got there 5 or 10 minutes early. it wasn’t ready which was expected. As I walked in though, 3 people walked in before me. There was only 1 person working the counter. They ordered 4 subs in total. Then they finally started making my order. I didn’t get out of there until 2:49. I don’t blame the person working the counter, I blame management. They need to train better and help work the counter. I also ordered 50% more meat. I did not get that. I was really disappointed. The only reason for 2 stars is cause the food was good. The sign says “skip the line, order online”, that was not my experience at all.

Other than there being a fair amount of concern around the vent, I felt like my wife and I were inconveniencing the workers. Our orders were basic, we were the only ones in there, and we are polite. Not much engagement from the subway peeps. Not that is there job to entertain us but I guess I expect some professionalism/politeness.

Horrible staffing, Lynchburg has poor customer service in general, but they redefine the definition of bad customer service here. It hard to order when every time they ask you a question about the food they seem genuinely angry at you and like you’re a burden. I know no one wants to work in customer service and it can be extremely taxing and exhausting to work in the food industry. But there is zero effort to make a positive impression here, fake or genuine. There is however, a strong effort to make you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the whole experience. Unfortunately this is the best subway in town as far as food goes, but everything else about this place is awful.

Will not be back here. This is the 2nd out of 3 times I’ve came and had to ask people (kids) to change their gloves because they have touched their clothes, hat or hair!!! This time a young boy with curls on the top of his head was messing with his hat and clothes. Then when I asked him to change his gloves he did it with an attitude and was SLAMMING the pizzas. He half tail made the subs and never once smiled. I asked him for salt and pepper and he made sure to over do it. Can’t even eat my sub to the extra salt taste!! If you don’t wanna work with the public then find another job!! But if you gonna make food don’t touch your freaking hair or clothes!! 4/27/24 2:43 pm

Met my Mom here for lunch. Store was very clean. Place was pretty busy but still got through the line fairly quick. Food quality was great and selection of items very nice. Staff (most of them) were very friendly and personable considering the amount of people in the line. Only complaint was the check out portion of the visit. I got a 6″ turkey, egg & cheese on flat bread ($3.75 on the sign)Mom got 6″ beef, chips & drink for $5.00 (with coupon). Total came to $12.86. Now I know Forest taxes are going up but that’s like 47%. So we point it out to the guy ($3.75 on the sign directly behind him) and he gets upset with us. A lady came over (guessing it was the mgr) and shows him how the ring it up and goes back to helping with sandwiches. He tries again and this time it was $11 and change and I’m running late and don’t have time to attempt to discuss it further. Over all the visit was ok. Kudos the lady that stepped up to help at the register. For the young man that got a bit cross with us, I hope his day gets better. Everyone had a bad day or bad moment in the day and I’m guessing he was having his then. I do plan to go back because I believe in the very best of everyone. One moment in one day does not define me nor mold my opinion of a person, place or thing.

Ordered three subs on line. One was correct and the other two were wrong. Ordered two footlong sweet onion steak teriyaki and got skimpy chicken. Some onions and peppers were bad cuts being large and not appropriate for the sub.
I usually go to the Subway below Fresh Market and I don’t plan to try the Forest one again.
Getting one order wrong is one thing but having two subs incorrect is bad business. Since they made them chicken and not steak they could have at be least put in enough chicken pieces to find. The onions and peppers were much more plentiful than chicken. With the price of gas I am not interested in driving back and forth to get it right.
