It’s been a regular spot for us for a while now.
And I haven taken the time to give them a review but they definitely deserve it.
Fish quality is prime
The service is provided by a lovely group of you and more experienced ladys that provide a very nice and friendly service .
We usually eat some nigiri and basic classic sushi with the noodle(soba) dish with either chicken or beef.
And the prices are fair .
No walking ins
But the trim over is fairly fast.
We will keep on coming back

We did a huge take-out with Kappa sushi. We really loved their sushi and their customer service was perfect. They even called us to confirm the extras that we ordered. I think we ordered like 15-16 rolls and other items and they got it all done by the time we drove there (15-20min)

We live near Convoy St. where there are many very good Japanese restaurants. After being introduced to Kappa by our friends D & G ten years ago, we have rarely gone anywhere else. The food is always fresh, high quality and beautifuly presented. Bentos, rolls, sashimi and drinks are all top notch. The wide selection of options also offers excellent value. On top of that the owners and staff provide professional, down to earth good humored service while making you feel at ease. Highly recommend.

Kappa Sushi was a great place to have some sushi. Ordered a couple of their rolls. The rice was cooked well and all the fish used were fresh. The atmosphere was quaint and a good place to have dinner. Parking was also plenty. Would come back.

Food here is definitely pricy. Normal amount of food (beer and two rolls) was over $40 a person with tax and tip. Sushi was good but not like mind-blowing for the price. Lunch combo or happy hour seems to be the way to go here.

Kappa Sushi is the best in the Mira Mesa neighborhood! My fiancé and I are regular clients there, and we never get disappointed. The fish is always fresh cut and of good quality. The service is excellent, and the price is reasonable. They have a Happy Hour on weekdays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm. Come and try! Highly recommended

Food was good. The bento box steak and shrimp tempura.
Gyoza were only 4 pices per order.
The edamame was smaller than expected.
