Our group of 4 arrived at 6:45 PM on Saturday night. We were allowed to choose where to sit as there was only 1 other group there. Each of us had eaten there before and returned because both the service and food are good. Sometimes the wait staff seem to hover but that is due to the lack of additional customers.
We each had a different dish and split 2 desserts of Tiramisu. The food portions are generous.
The posted hours show open until 9:00 PM. At 8:20 the owner shut off the lights on the parking lot side of the restaurant and was giving the message they were ready to close. On Saturday night? It seemed a little inhospitable so that is the reason for 4 stars!

An Italian gem hidden in Whittier/La Mirada. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant stop going to Olive Garden and try this spot. The food is delicious and authentic. DELICIOUS!!!

This place is barely getting started and I have to say that the pizza was delicious… Will definitely go again.
Unfortunately the building doesn’t feel inviting, they should put glass on the front and all the way around the side with nice bright lights.. maybe even push some of the cooks towards the front, that way it catches the attention of drivers.

We went to eat dinner here on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. Only one other table was sat when we arrived. I assumed such a highly reviewed place would be jumping at this prime time.
First off I’ll just say that the wait staff was very nice. Quick, attentive, polite, all around great. The food was just alright though. Definitely not bad, but also not amazing. It’s the same price you’d get at any other slightly upscale Italian place, but I’ll just say I’ve had better. We even got the tiramisu to try since it’s in the restaurant’s name but was also disappointed to find it was average. I was hoping to be blown away. Oh well.

Excellent food and service. The restaurant wasn’t very busy on a Thursday afternoon so the dishes came quickly to the table. Both the Rigatoni and the Chicken Picatta were well presented and HOT. The meals were cooked perfectly and the sauces were delicious. The service was attentive and helpful. We will go back again.

For food, this place deserves a full 5 star rating. Everything I tried was excellent – far better than I expected. The reason for the missing star is due to the building, decor, and atmosphere. Everything about the place says run-down, lackluster, bland. The 80s mix over the speakers was an odd choice, and the walls were a bit low class and maybe dingy (or just old). Even the tables and chairs were uninviting, but we stayed anyway, and the food made it worth it. I recommend the ravioli in particular.

Fairly new but definitely worth a try! Prices are moderate but the servings are LARGE. Great lasagna – wonderful flavor and a large serving. Fresh bread served as a starter with Oil & Balasmic Vinegar on the table. Great food. Lots of TVs on the wall. Pizza looked really good.

Food was really good! My husband got the Chicken Parmigiana which was really juicy and flavorful and came with roasted potatoes and veggies but could come with pasta if requested. I got the lasagna which was superb but I would’ve personally wanted a little more melted cheese on top. The pricing was average to most Italian dishes from $15 to $20 a plate. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the ambiance. The music playing had nothing to do with the vibe and the seating and wall colors were a little outdated and not as cozy as most Italian restaurants are.
