Wow, wonderful spot, with some of the best fried chicken ever. Super crispy, super moist, tender and flavorful.the waffles were hella good,the syrup was the thinnest I have ever had,but it was Excellent. And the gravy was so good I finished it with a spoon. Also, homemade hot sauce, comparable to Tabasco was really good. Will definitely be back.

Update: Manager asked how the food was and I told her. She comp’t my meal and gave me a cookie, so I’m changing my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
2 weeks later: In retrospect, this place should not have a 4 star review from me. At more than $20 for coffee, eggs, potatoes and toast, the breakfast should be good, and a mediocre cookie is not enough to make up for it.

Wandered in off the street with zero expectations. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. The food is heavenly, the atmosphere is relaxed and rustic and the staff were kind and helpful and seemed to legitimately enjoy their customers.
I got the Country Ham Bennedict and it is easily in my top 5 of all time (and I love, love, love bennedicts).
They make their own jalapeño hot sauce that is mildly spicy and yet explodes with flavor

With how expensive everything was, I was really expecting something more nice? The eggs Benedicts my mom and I got were really bland. The hollandaise sauce just kind of tasted like mayonnaise and they needed a lot of salt. There were greens on top and my mom thought they were just a garnish and didnt eat them. With the name Americana on the main street in Sebastopol, we thought it would be a more fancy place… but instead they were playing loud, trashy country music covers of hip-hop songs and the staff all seemed like they were not happy to be working there. Definitely won’t be coming back.
