Reviews
We loved hearing the story of the gin library and LOVED the drinks. I especially loved the honey and pineapple infused gin cocktail.
Ate tacos from the little taco stand with the friendliest staff on the island. Highly recommend!
We did two flights for a total of nine drinks.
Each one was better than the last. These folks know their gin and are passionate about their work.
Of course they exchange your gin for they’re gin. It’s better to reserve appointment online to try 3 of they’re gins of your choice, because its cheaper than going there and buying one glass of gin sepretly.
The staff is great, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and funny.
They had some very interesting gins made by them, plus so so many gins from around the world, which you could also request.
Multiple people arrived without a reservation but they accommodated them anyway.
The system of bringing a bottle and getting a bottle is fun.
The owner was great and funny. He did a presentation on how to make the perfect gin and tonic, which was entertaining and informative.
Definitely worth a stop! And make sure you bring a bottle of gin from your home country for the collection.
We didnt eat here but there is a sushi experience (book ahead for that) and it seemed like there was someone making quesadillas on the patio.
Doesn’t matter if you like a dry one, a botanical one, or even a sweeter one, they have everything you want here!
The people working there are amazing! You can taste every Gin you can see for 15€. And if you aren’t sure what exactly you want, they are more than happy to help you choose and find your new personal favorite.
If you plan to visit, definitely make sure to bring a local craft gin from your hometown! They have a list on their website, and if they don’t have it already, you get a free signed bottle from the owner. With a unique number! We brought the #1539. So besides the multiple gins they create themselves, there are more than enough gins to taste.
Because of the vibe and the amazing people working there, we decided to book the sushi dinner.
There, you have access to the more exclusive Japanese gins. The sushi was amazing! An awesome take on traditional sushi combined with a local charm from the azores. Even though they told us it was kind of a tradition to feed the cats with the leftovers, no one from our booking left any left over because it was just too good!
