A beautiful, peaceful, and delicious spot for breakfast. Everyone says hello when you walk in, and the service was personable and kind. The menu is super unique and everything is delicious and has a homemade feel while still being above average food.
I’m from out of town and found this spot with my family we will probably eat here for breakfast multiple days this week.
I tip my hat to the waitress, she was awesome and attentive, can’t remember her name but she also waits tables at a restaurant called bold just up the street.
Great service and delicious food, thanks for the great experience!
Edit: second stop for lunch time, same menu and the food was phenomenal again. Thank you Katelyn for the great service and experience!

Full City Cafe has been on my Maps hit list and was finally able to visit for a late breakfast. Short walk through the attached coffee shop and seated quickly.
A great range of choices on the menu so we asked our server what was popular. We ended up getting the potato latke Benedict and the corned beef hash (homemade). Pretty sure that if you want toast with these, you’ll need to get a side order.
Both were excellent. Liked the coffee, too.
Bottom line, we’ll be back when we’re in the area!

Excellent food and service! Pictured is the Latke Benedict and the Gingerbread pancakes (seasonal). Lots of other great options on the menu as well

My wife and I had breakfast. She had the Western omelet and I had the Spaniard omelet. We both got the breakfast potatoes and I also added a pancake to my meal. Both meals were exquisite. The omelets were delicious and filling. The pancake with cinnamon butter was delicious. We tried the baguettes. They were light and airy. My wife got the snickers coffee. She said it was good. I got the black coffee. Service was good at the beginning and end. The middle while we waited for food, I was out of coffee I didn’t get refill until food came. We would go back if are in the area again.

Thought I’d be adventurous and try something different today absolutely delicious! Salmon, eggs, leeks, potato, and Parmesan! Just yum never thought eggs would go good with fish but this dish it does! I got to go but they have a very clean restaurant and the person that served me was super friendly I’d defiantly check them out good portion size too. They have a whole coffee drink bar too. And they have a lot of seating too. The whole menu looks good and has different creations that u think huh i don’t know how that would taste good but as you see mine sounded weird but it was absolutely delicious I’m sure everything on the menu is the same.
Update just had the chicken caprese Sandwich love the homemade pesto in it overall everything in it is so good! Also love the Italian lemon cake fixed my sweet tooth and it was very yum.

Prior to arriving, I had a horrible customer service experience at Hilton 2. Rather than getting on the highway frustrated to head back to GR I decided to get breakfast. I googled breakfast near me and City Cafe had 4.5 stars. Of course I clicked directions. The cutest gathering spot. Very kind staff. I told my waitress I was bummed and she said “well let me spoil you”, and she did exactly that. I choose comfort food, the fried chicken biscuit and gray bowl with a pumpkin pancake on the side. My meal was delicious!!!!!!!! Tender flavorful fresh and picture perfect. But the best part was a sweet little toddler smiling and waving at me across the room. Changed my mood immediately! Then a family was sat next to me and started chatting about the weather of course, which lead to me recommending the same meal. Then we girls started exchanging compliments about hair color and purses. Brightened my mood some more. The prices are really reasonable!!!

Great place to stop in for a delicious breakfast. I was surprised to find some interesting items on the breakfast menu like the Asian inspired bowl – called Miyako Breakfast Bowl. It was good as was the daily quiche which happened to have leeks and Monterey cheese when I was there. The quiche was nice and fluffy and great flavor. They also have a tasty cinnamon butter for the pancakes. The service was very good.

I’m sure this kind of menu is appealing to those that think that fancy is equivalent to overpriced recipes that contain mismatched ingredients but the munu was trash. There wasn’t anything that was just breakfast. I am sure I could have ordered eggs ala carte but didn’t even ask. Every option contained hipster ingredients that do not belong on or in breakfast food. I’m not kidding, zero normal breakfast options. Just goofy stuff like quiche with brussel sprouts or quinoa something or another. The meals were ridiculous. Some places have the dumb stuff on the menu to appeal to the goofballs that pretend they are high class because their food is pronounced funny but still have typical breakfast options. The staff was amazing. We tipped them well even though we joust paid $24 for 5 coffees. My ridicule of this place is solely directed to the creator of the menu. If there are enough people who like this kind of stuff, then best of luck to this place.

We originally came out to Portage to try a different restaurant, when we got there it had been bought out for a private event. This was only five minutes away and we were famished so we came here. It was an hour before they closed. They never made us feel rushed. They were incredibly friendly. Our food came out quickly. Most importantly it was delicious. I’ve already recommended this place to a friend of mine.
I can’t remember what the dish was called that my husband had, but it had fried chicken, biscuits, an egg, was smothered in country gravy and sprinkled with crispy fried kale. I had a Spaniard omelette with rye toast and tator tots. Everything was seasoned perfectly. We were both very impressed.
It was lively in the restaurant, but not so loud that you couldn’t hear the conversation at your own table. There was beautiful art and photography displayed on the walls for sale. We will definitely be back.
