Cash only! There’s an ATM inside. The Cheesesteak sandwich here is incredible! The side of fries was a great addition and a great value for the price.

I called two weeks ago about 4:30 PM, and they told me they did not have any rolls. Today I called after 5:00 PM, and they said no hot sandwiches. I use to enjoy going there from time to time. Unfortunately I think it is time to find someplace with consistency.

I got my 1st ever Zep! It was very good. The roll was fantastic and tbh, I don’t know why people get soooooo worked up over 1. Cooked Salami and 2. The onions! I’m glad i stopped and enjoyed the place. It had a 80’s sandwich shop feel. Like a bygone era. Staff was great also.

Ive been going to Eves for over 20 years ( back when it was on Sandy Hill ) . I love the food and fresh bread but the customer service is low ! I sat outside and called to place an order ( was on a work call ) , I saw the lady pick up and hung up the phone !!! I had to walk in to place the order . The blonde hair young girl begin the counter ALWAYS has a “ blah “ attitude. No “ hello “ , “ how can I help you” …. Nothing … Never ! I just don’t get it .

Proudly displayed in the window is a ‘The best of Montco 2019 Best Zep’s’ sign. I have had good Zep experiences, and apparently Eve’s are the best, so I ordered one. The large zep was $14.50, you know I am not a fan of that. I will give Eve major props. She had a sign up that due to price increases during COVID there was an additional charge sandwiches (above the $14.50). It’s a pandemic, people understand you have to pass the increase on to the consumer, supermarkets do it. The large zep was very good. It is on a very good but very bready roll. Sneaky good amount of good meat. I prefer the meat chopped but it was good. I would have liked a little bit more cheese. The zep flavor overpowered everything but that is what I guess it is supposed to do.

Pretty good old-school sandwich shop in the area. Make sure to bring cash with you because they don’t take cards. Think of this place as the home of the Zep. Basically, you get your sandwichs without lettuce. The people here have been pretty nice. Stop in and give it a try.

Whatever meat they are now using is not near as good as the cooked salami they use to use. I’m a long time customer, I’ve been coming since he store was called Linfontes and their great grandmother ran it before she moved into Sandy Hill Terrace. Very disappointed!

“Absolutely no lettuce!” You’re here to try the local legend: the Zep sandwich. A Zep is not a hoagie, which has lettuce. A Zep has one meat, thick cut onions, thick cut tomatoes, provolone cheese, oregano, oil, and sweet peppers optional. That’s it. I gotta say this sandwich is absolutely delicious. Eve’s makes delicious food in this no frills ma and pa shop. It’s a fun little regional particularity and well worth your time. P.S. I’ve been invited my misanthropic friend out for Zeps for a few months but he won’t leave his house. I’ve begun referring to him as Zep Boy, much to my delight.
