Sbarro, founded in Brooklyn, offers the Original XL New York-style pizza. Our dough is made fresh by hand every day, and we shred 100% whole-milk mozzarella cheese at our locations. We also use San Marzano-style tomato sauce. Each slice is baked to perfection, providing that authentic, foldable New York bite you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re craving pizza, stromboli, or pasta, Sbarro uses real ingredients and delivers genuine New York flavor for any occasion.

An employee standing in the seating section screamed at me that I needed to leave when I had only finished one slice of pizza. He told me I’d been there 45 minutes, and other people wanted to sit. I’m not sure if he had me confused with someone else, but I’d only been there 15-20 minutes including ordering, and said I needed to leave immediately or he would call the police. There were also multiple tables empty? Screamed at me in front of the entire restaurant. I was not able to finish my pizza or drink. The people next to me, who got there BEFORE me, told me he’d acted this way to all customers tonight and that they were sorry. No idea what happened but he should not have his job as he made me, and others, genuinely afraid and uncomfortable. Hope the owners can check the cameras and see how long I was there, and how he acted. I’m genuinely appalled and have already contacted corporate.

The food and beer are great (really, they are). HOWEVER, the dining area had obviously not been cleaned in a while when I stopped in for a connecting train. Keep it clean, y’all!

You would think being at a train station this place would be used to rushes, but no. Line moves so slow the people in line argue with people waiting and the staff hust doubles down like this is normal and fine.
Do NOT go. Skip it. You’re in New Haven, the capital of Pizza.

Here is a recent positive review. The staff was friendly and helpful. The eating area wasn’t the best, but this is train station soooooo…
I asked for utensils and an extra pizza box and they gladly complied.
The BBQ chicken pizza was great. The crust was not too thick but firm enough to hold up the generous toppings. The cheese was fresh, you could taste it. Not the pre-shredded with wood dust in it.
The sauce was just right, not too sweet, not too spicy. The chicken was tender and they didn’t skimp on the quantity.
They also had a variety of bottled drinks as well as fountain.
Other items available include Stromboli, pasta salad and green salads.
They have daily and combo specials.
Overall, was well pleased at having a hot food option on our way back from NYC.

My girlfriend went to buy a slice of pizza at night, she was treated extremely badly, very badly, a bald attendant treated her very badly, she felt extremely offended, with a lump in her throat because she was super polite and he was a huge jerk!
I don’t know how a place with such bad service can stay open, improve as a person.

Had a train coming in like 10 minutes so decided to stop in for a bite. For a quick slice of pizza it was very good, it was hot and tasted good. But I’m mainly giving 5 stars for the service, the guys who cashed me out and got my slice of pizza were very nice. The eating area is rather small and there aren’t very good seating options in the actual station, but if you can snag a table in the restaurant it’s certainly superior to the options outside.

Service was slow for a slice of pizza . But I had a nice conversation with the lady drinking the IPA next to me (it was 9am).
The only other downside was when I went to offer my friend a slice and she said ew and then pushed me into an oncoming train. Other then that pizza wasn’t bad!!!

It is an absolute disgrace this location is still here. The Indian cashier charges you for items such as plastic utensils , plastic bags and even salad dressing when you already purchased the salad! He also always charges a little bit more and covers it up by saying it’s just tips and taxes. Will not come back ever again
