We got 3 meals. 1 was good. The other 2 bland. The beans must be canned, the meat is full of fat. The burrito was hollow. The hot sauces have no taste. Other than that. The beer was good too.

If you’re looking for delicious food with a traditional homemade flavor, Taquería y Mariscos El Habanero is the spot! Everything here tastes authentic and full of flavor, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
But what really stood out to me was the customer service. Our waitress, Joselyn, went above and beyond—when I accidentally left my phone behind, she kept it safe and even joked with me about it when I came back. That kind of honesty and genuine hospitality is something you rarely see anymore, and I truly take my hat off to her.
Between the amazing food, handmade tortillas, and the kind of customer service that makes you feel at home, this is definitely a place worth checking out. Highly recommended!

The food and salsas are great. However, I ordered 4 tacos in person (2 al pastor and 2 asada) and was charged $21.51 when they show the price on the menu per asada/ al pastor tacos is $3.50. $3.50 x 4 = $14. Even with tax and fee for using credit card that does not justify the $7.51 (a 50% increase of the total price).

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was fast, very professional, and attentive. The salsa bar was outdanding, but the sopes and flautas were to die for! It’s a small place but good sized menu. Had a pastor and a carne taco, ingredients were fresh, and I’m pretty sure the tortillas are made in house. The salsa bar had many choices from a Verde to a Habanero, I think.
The tacos were simple, I would go back to try something else.

I recently had a meal at The Habanero and overall, it was a decent experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and had a nice, casual vibe that made it feel comfortable to sit and enjoy the food. The mole and pupusas were alright — nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying, especially for the price.
Food came out relatively quickly, which was appreciated. However, there was a bit of disorganization with the service. Dishes were being brought to the wrong tables, parts of our order were forgotten until we reminded the staff several times, and basic items like napkins and utensils were oddly hard to come by.
Despite the service hiccups, the overall experience wasn’t bad. The location is convenient, and for the price point, the food holds up. With a little more attention to organization and service, this place could really shine.
