It was time to revisit iTzcali Tapas and Tequila. I originally went during their opening week back in November 2023 and did not have a good experience.

Tequila for days and an ambiance that has all the good vibes! Not to mention, the food is superb!
We had appetizers such as the Dipping Trio – salsa, guacamole, and queso that knocked our socks off. Also, the Ceviche Fresco was perfectly done.
Entrees ordered spanned from Baja Fish Tacos to Birria Ramen to Tuna Tartare and Sashimi Tacos. Everyone loved their meals, but the Birria Ramen was the hit. For a little something special, we ordered a few servings of the Marco’s Churros. It was the perfect sweet treat to wrap up a wonderful dinner.
But wait… I didn’t mention the cocktails… everyone dabbled with something different but let me be the one to tell you that the Itzacali Paloma has a special place in my heart ❤️.
Go make your tastebuds happy and check this spot out!

I was told to come to this place during a work trip and I’m SO glad I did. Too bad it was on my last day:( I’m not from the area so driving into it was kinda sketchy but then again I was probably in my head. The location its self seemed safe and the parking lot had the proper lighting. I’m an explorer but also think of safety. Walking in the restaurant I was warmly greeted. Usually I tell restaurants I want to sit at the bar (quicker access to food and drinks) and told to go ahead, this was the first time I was actually walked to a seat at the bar. Definitely a team effort because Ashley was my primary waitress/bartender but two other people stepped in to take care of me. Thank you Ashley, it’s always good to feel welcomed when away from home. Anyhow, I loved everything about this place. Drinks were phenomenal, food was great (although not a fan of the enchiladas), I was dancing in my seat to so many songs , the ambiance was on point…. and the price was so fair! Definitely coming back if I’m in the area again.

We happened to be at this restaurant for Day of the Dead. It was fantastic! The food, the service, the treatment from the owners… Completely top notch. Coming from major metropolitan areas like New York City and Seattle. We didn’t know what to expect and everyone from every place was so impressed! This is a must-go place for Mexican food and cuisine when you’re in Wichita!

Went here for the first time it was pretty good. Feel like it depends what you get. I had the fish tacos they were pretty good my wife had enchiladas they were good too. I tried a quesadilla that someone else had and it was very good!

My family and I were passing through town. I chose this spot due to the plates looking delicious but when we walked in the atmosphere was just as nice. We tried several plates including dessert, everything was delicious! I had their fresh squeezed margarita with added jalapenos!

My girlfriends and I had big reasons to celebrate last night and this was the perfect spot! It already has a beautiful ambiance but they allowed us to come in early and put some of our own decor on the table. The drinks and food were great. Our waiter seemed to have a little hard time at first separating tabs for such a big party but he worked it out. Then ager or owner kept coming around to the table to make sure everything was perfect for us. This is a great place to have an event or just a fun dinner. Will definitely be back!

First time visit and driving by the building looks big but inside was small with limited seating. Host said if we didn’t have a reservation we would have to sit at the bar. Unfortunately we were there for 1 1/2 hours and the seating they claim to have reservations still had no customers after we left so that’s confusing. Food was ok but the menu is small the entree was fresh but the sides were cold. The bartender was nice but the drinks didn’t taste good and she seemed overwhelmed. Overall it was an uncomfortable experience and we probably won’t be back

The pros: beautiful atmosphere, and the menu was promising.

The cons: Horrible service. We were there for a lunch (6 total, with reservation) the waitress was very slow to get us anything. I truly felt like it was her first day on the job. We had to ask for napkins, had to ask for appetizer plates, had to ask for a ticket, had to wave her down to order, had to ask for another drink. It felt like we were inconveniencing her at every turn. The restaurant was not busy, and two other table were the only ones sat with another waitress to tend to them. Our waitress was more concerned about her cellphone than ensuring we were enjoying our time.
We ordered happy hour drinks, and were Charged full price! I ordered a Bloody Mary, it had a couple olives, no other garnish. It was mostly ice, with maybe 3 sips of watered down tomato juice. No seasoning, no flavor. Horrible.
The food was presented beautifully, but overpriced and bland. $71 for 3 happy hour drinks (that we paid full price for) one order of guacamole, and and order of fish tacos that we split. We were automatically charged 22% gratuity. Hmm.. maybe that’s why the waitress didn’t care about our service, they force you to tip a certain amount. We were only a party of 6, why don’t you advertise ANYWHERE that gratuity is added? Not on the menu.. not on our ticket….

All in all, we wasted our time and money to eat a place that’s only shining quality was the atmosphere.

You couldn’t pay us to come back. $71 & the pics are the only food/drinks we ordered.
Save your money and go to TJS tacos… way better service, food, and half the price!

This place is a hidden gem that I did not know about! Gave me Vegas vibes. Absolutely loved the drinks, food and service! It is so pretty inside, I even took pictures of the bathroom. I cannot wait to return and am already telling friends and family they have been missing out!
My only complaint is the parking situation, very strange.
