I first visited here over a month ago for a private event and overall the service was great and the food and drinks were delicious. This time I visited on a personal visit and the servers did mention that they were short staffed so the wait was a bit long. I think from the time we ordered it took about 45 minutes before our food came out which isn’t a probably per se. I ordered the chicken and waffles and unfortunately they forgot to add the Nashville hot syrup. Additionally the chicken was a bit on the drier side with the waffles a bit flat. We also ordered a small plate of breakfast nachos which was delicious, the chips were so crisp and held the toppings well! We also ordered a dozen oysters and they were your typical round of oysters, no weird smell, very buttery and paired nicely with the bourbon horseradish bbq sauce which definitely ask for as they did not have straight horseradish. Price wise I would say expect to spend anywhere between 30-50 pp if not a bit more if you’re drinking a few more cocktails.

The restaurant is also located on the corner of the street so it is street parking with some pay to park spots along the side right across the street. It is free on Sundays.

Where the restaurant earned their stars for me was their service. Despite being short staffed, everyone was in great spirits and no one expressed any sort of frustration or annoyance with the customers. They also chatted with the customers and laughed which was such a nice touch to the visit!

We enjoyed our time here on a Saturday evening. It can get a bit loud, given the overall small size of the room. It looked like any seating away from the bar would be shared long tables; it did not get crowded enough that we needed to sit directly next to another party, but it would have been a bit awkward if we did. Food was good overall; the chicken on my sandwich was quite small in size and somewhat tough, unfortunately. The drinks were good, but I noted that our cocktail seemed to be a bit less than filled and when I noticed the drink prices of 17 dollars, we pivoted to wine after. I’d try it again, but I’d be looking to probably have drinks elsewhere.

We went with OLAR for a private event (baby shower brunch) upstairs- OMG BOOK THEM RIGHT NOW. Ellie was the sweetest, most accommodating, thorough, organized go-to person from the day we inquired to the day of the event. She took the reins and took care of the whole setup. It made the day a low stress breeze for me. For reference, we had about 40 guests.

The space/vibes upstairs: it was magical. There were string lights and beautiful white flowers hanging from the ceiling. They care of the table setup/ decor/ linens/ etc and it was BEAUTIFUL. I gave them two inspo pictures (really just a color palette and a welcome sign we were using) and BAM they turned that into the most beautiful decor and table setup. I couldn’t believe it.

The food/drinks: They help you work out your menu and it was delicious!

I’m still getting messages from the attendees about how awesome the baby shower was. You won’t regret booking them.

We’ve loved this place ever since the first time we opened the door. The bar is MAGNIFICENT! A classic beauty in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lots of nice sitting spaces and charming appointments. Low music and style fit the couples and friends that gather. The staff is supremely engaging, warm and inviting of you to their place. Great cocktails and excellent craft beers on tap. We started with fried green tomatoes this night and they were awesome. Tried the Alabama Slamma Chicken – something I’ve never seen on another MD menu – and it was delicious. We always have a great visit here. Thank you oLaR!

Loved the ambiance, the food and the drinks. This isn’t a place to bring the kids which I was grateful for. Had a girls night and sat at the bar which in itself was a nice production with the bartender making the different drinks. I got the Nice Spice which I loved due to the spiciness but it also was smooth. The bulgogi lettuce wraps and spicy shrimp were good. I ordered the Cowboy burger and the brown sugar coat on the burger with the egg and onions was chefs kiss! The fries were good as well. Make sure to ask about the homemade hot sauce, they have 3 kinds and the pineapple based one was my favorite. This is definitely going to be a repeat spot with friends.

Incredible, always. We have the best time here every time. Today for brunch (chicken & waffles and breakfast burrito) but other times for happy hour and dinner. We love this spot. The cocktails are creative and fun, the bar is great, and the food tastes delicious!

Food was great and atmosphere really nice. They were very busy on the Saturday night we went so service wasn’t 100% but no problem. The starters (beet salad and mushroom escargot we’re delicious as was the bread pudding dessert). A bit too much sauce on the pad Thai for my liking but the scampi was great! Whiskey cocktails were excellent! Nice place for a fancy night out!

While the initial impression of thia restaurant’s first floor was less than ideal, the upstairs revealed a pleasant surprise. The dimly lit and musty ground floor was a stark contrast to the beautifully appointed second floor.

The food was commendable, making it a great choice for our team’s happy hour. The atmosphere upstairs was inviting and perfect for socializing. It’s clear why the restaurant was recommended by someone who had previously dined there.
There is Parking available for $1/hr opposite to the restaurant. I have a pic posted in my review.
