Ribs, chicken, beans, and potato salad were all really great. It had a nice real smoked open pit flavor. Really unique vs. all the other “bbq” spots. The best thing about this place is the setting. It looks like a old garage and all the seating is outside. Very cool place!

Delicious! Everything! Pork has very good pork flavor. Ribs too. Light smoke to the meats since they’re open pit. Haven’t tired their signature dish (chicken) yet but I will. Cole slaw – maybe the best I’ve ever had – is vinegar-based, tart and chunky. Other sides seem plain but they’re not. Very well prepared and spiced just right. Good Coca-Cola! Really nice and efficient servers. Outdoor seating only but with roofs and umbrellas available for cover. Excellent dining experience!

I really, really wanted to like this place. Moved into the neighborhood behind Barney’s and there really isn’t any other BBQ places around. First time we went, realized they didn’t take debit/credit cards. Ok, no big deal, we figured we would come back another time. Next time we did, they were closed. Ok, our fault, should have checked the times online. Finally got some bbq yesterday and gotta say, we were disappointed. The sides were really good, the pumpkin cake, OMG, amazing but the pork was not good at all. It was more like shaved roast beef and had no taste. We also asked for extra bbq sauce and got this strange tasting liquid, nothing like the bbq sauce we are used to. My husband and I sat down to eat and tried the pork and gave each other strange looks and then he said he really missed living next to Bandana’s BBQ because their pulled pork was amazing. I almost wonder if they gave us the wrong thing because it tasted nothing like pork.

BRING CASH THEY DON’T TAKE CREDIT CARDS I don’t remember the last time I went somewhere to eat that didn’t take a credit card, so we had to leave to get cash after driving almost 50 miles to get there, Then the food was just OK nothing special. Would rather have my wife’s BBQ, beans and potato salad. I will stay home next time

Loved the seasoning, but the ribs were only so so. Much more impressed by the pork steak and 1/4 chicken in the special plate. Pass on the beans and the coleslaw.

If you’re like me, you probably think that the ribs are the manly way to go. They’re good, but their half chickens are amazing. Smoky, juicy, and cheap. Can’t beat that.
