In Southern Illinois there’s a lot of Mexican restaurant, but this place has some of the best Mexican food. I got the carnitas plate and apart from the price and portion, the food was amazing. The pork meat was well marinated and made to order. Everything was on point including the service!!!

This place is kind of odd, the menu and food makes it seem like American people tried to open a Mexican restaurant, there are weird items on the menu like French fries, topped with cheese and steak, the prices are a tad high, and the menu, for being a decent size seems super limited for a Mexican restaurant. Its a decent meal but nothing to write home about.

The employees here are super friendly, fast to get refills without asking, will keep your chips/salsa filled, and the food is in my opinion, over 5 stars. I have never had anything bad or that I did not thoroughly enjoy from here. My all time favorite Mexican Restaurant!!

If you want flavorful Mexican food this place hits the spot. The dishes are seasoned beautifully depending on the meat. We had a party of eight and every one was so impressed with their meals. The portion sizes were generous and the wait staff was busy but we had everything we needed. Our waitress, Chrissy, also was also able to remember an entire table of orders with substitutions without writing anything down which is always impressive. I don’t know if we will ever be back through, but if we are we would not hesitate to stop again.

I got there between 2 and 3:00 p.m. there wasn’t many people in the restaurant. But I was immediately greeted and seated, I did not have to wait long for chips and salsa and a menu/drink order which arrived timely. And the food arrived also in a timely fashion. Everyone was personable I gave the waitress an extra tip because it was so slow and I knew she wasn’t making much money at the time. Restaurant was extremely clean with a positive atmosphere.

We were staying at nearby campground travelling from Missouri to see the trails in the area & decided on mexican takeout one night and we were very impressed with the phone in order, the location, the pick up service and the incredible speed of order complete & accurate. The lady on phone was super polite & nice. Also good size of 2 meals with huge bag of chips & too! Terrific prices. Not spicy but mild to our liking. The atmosphere looked inviting also. Would recommend & will return in the future. Thanks.

The service was decent and the customers were festive. They all were having drinks. The food was bland and tasteless. The little salsa they brought out with chips tasted like a can of chopped tomatoes. No spices. No anything. The chicken in the meals ordered was tender but tasteless. Totally wasted our money.
