We have wanted a good fish and chip place for a while finally came across this one with great reviews on google and 519 guy. We came to check it out. It’s in a little plaza in London. When you walk in you enter into a warm and cozy little place. The place has shawls ice-cream , fish , sides , fried , chicken and more. The guy asked what he could get us and when I told him he have not been before he showed us one side was fish, one was sides and the other chicken options. He also pointed out the specials of the day . My partner and I both ordered the cod and a side of poutine. We first had the poutine yummy! The gravy was delicious and no fry was dry. They use both shredded and curds for the cheese. The cod was large, crispy and tasty. Even though we ate the poutine first the fish was still hot. Let’s not forget about the tartar sauce. It appeared to be home made and tasted fantastic better than your typical tartar sauce. In the bag they provide cutlery , lemon slices and malt viniger.
Not only great food but they bring your food out to you and are super friendly.

It was my first time to this place because of a youtube video that my husband watched. Small family run business. The owner and the chef are very friendly.
We tried their classic chicken burger with fresh cut fries.
It’s the best burger I have ever had to be honest. The fries were good too and felt like you’re eating real fries unlike other places.
The price for this combo was a steal.
This is going to be my go to burger place.
I am definitely going to try their fish and chips combo soon and will update my review.

Truly fantastic. What a gem this local fish and chips place is. My life has been spent in the restaurant industry and I know when a place cares to put out quality food. I don’t leave many reviews, but this was so good I was compelled to. I had the frigate dinner with halibut. The shrimp was fantastic, the fish was divine. The owner had a smile and charm which could only be described as contagious. The wife and I had cheesecake Sundaes for dessert. We ordered one for each of us, but it was jam packed and we on l really needed one. We will be back, soon.

Such lovely and warm friendly people. I was greeted immediately and guided to the specials. Perfect. My fish and chips were delicious and generous amounts of tartar sauce, lemons, vinegar all beautifully packed up in to go containers, as I knew I’d be eating at the table outside, but then taking some with me. Many thanks! Such a unique special little place, with wonderful hospitality.

From England here. Grew up around local chippies my whole life. Nothing beats fish and chips. But this place? Never have I had such fantastic food. The chicken caesar wrap is unbelievable. It’s like having it for the first time every time I eat it. My first time having poutine in Canada was also this place and again it never fails to deliver. Will never stop ordering from here. The staff are lovely lovely people. Their garlic aioli sauce is homemade which for me personally is the icing on the cake. If you get chance to come here you must. It’s affordable, parking is easy the food is always hot and you’re never waiting long at all. Thank you Kipps Lane Fish and Chips for making me real tasteful food!!

Everything was delicious. Started with fresh cooking oil, halibut and haddock were crispy outside and fluffy inside. I dont usually like fries but they were the right size, not too salty, golden and crunchy. Extra home made tarta sauce was worth $0.25 each. We forgot to ask for: utensils, ketchup and napkins. We’ll be back!

Everyone has known for a long time that the fish here is really good.. and just about a month ago I tried a burger for the first time, and I was shocked at how fantastic it was. Absolutely amazing. Just on Tuesday of this week , the Big Dave burger got released.. and I must say , this is the best burger that I have had in my life. I have had other burger places that have good burgers, sure.. but nothing beats this at all! Juicy fresh made patties, delicious flavor and sauces, jalapeño peppers. I really dont think I will ever find a place that makes better burgers. Perfectly crispy fresh cut fries cooked to perfection as well. Fast and friendly service. I really have no complaints. You guys earned the good google review, I apologize for not thinking of leaving a Google review sooner. Good stuff guys, I plan to be a customer for years to come ! ❤️

I ordered delivery and was so impressed. Absolutely the best fish in london. Staff on phone very pleasant and courteous. I live across town and yet the food was piping hot. Seriously a 5 star experience
